My husband and I came here for a regular 40 minute foot massage on a busy Saturday afternoon. We called ahead and made reservations. The place was packed; we were glad we called. We had mixed experiences so the stars reflect the average. The person working on me used a very light touch and overly worked the same few spots (like my calves). It was not much of a massage. I should have spoken up but you are so nestled with a blanket and towel over your eyes that it felt like a big production. My husband, however, said he had the best foot massage he's ever had. I found this place a couple years back based on reviews for Zhang and she was absolutely amazing and worth the drive. I would always tip her big and she deserved it. I have not returned since Zhang left and I didn't have a reason to return. Fast forward to today and made an appointment with Frank based on another reviewers recommendation. I got a 90 min combo. The first 60 was feet and I'm pretty certain Frank was asleep. The remaining 30 was neck and back. I think Frank is capable maybe just a little lazy. I wish more post would suggest a person because a massage is only as good as who actually works on you. Anyway, was not worth the drive, money or time. read more

Just had my 2nd foot massage at YIYI. Wow! Both times were absolutely incredible! My masseuse was a woman named Zhang. She is AMAZING! She's truly an artist in reflexology. She is strong, knowledgeable, kind and professional. I really can't imagine a better experience. My foot massage by Zhang was the best massage I've ever had, way better than some full body massages I've had in high end spas. I am a teacher so I stand a lot. My feet and legs hurt so much at the end of the week. Zhang was able to work her magic and take all the pain away. I believe she also reduced swelling and improved my circulation. What to expect for a foot massage: It's easy to get an appointment. You sit in a comfy lounge chair, wearing your regular, comfy clothes. You are in one big room (like a nail salon) but curtains give you a little privacy from the person next to you. The lights are dim and there is peaceful music playing. Everyone is quiet, communicating in whispers if needed. They drape towels over you and give you a small towel to cover your eyes. The place is clean and service is efficient. I felt totally comfortable and at ease. I am hooked and want to become a regular! Love Yiyi!! It's my favorite neighborhood spot to unwind and get an amazing foot massage. The masseurs are amazing. It's very clean and super reasonably priced. I almost always doze off and complete relaxation. I've seen people bring bottles of wine in the past for BYOB. I usually get the hour-long massage for only $39 plus tip. They have comfortable reclining chairs and offer blankets and face coverings while getting a massage. Super relaxing spa music plays in the background to create a soothing atmosphere. The staff are all super friendly. Very clean and they have hand sanitizers at every massage chair and always take your temperature as you check in for your service. They will adjust the pressure to your liking and never use too much lotion. They use hot towels at the end to remove the massage lotion. I'm so thankful Yiyi is in my neighborhood and highly recommend this spot for the best reflexology in town! read more

I have frequented this establishment on numerous occasions and generally found the service to be satisfactory. However, my recent experience, during which my wife and I opted for a one-hour foot and leg massage, left much to be desired. Regrettably, the therapist assigned to me devoted the entire hour solely to massaging my feet, neglecting my legs entirely. While I initially refrained from expressing dissatisfaction, as the primary reason for choosing this service was leg massage, my disappointment grew. Upon settling the bill, the establishment's owner, a female, made an attempt to pressure me into leaving a tip. I politely conveyed that gratuities are at the discretion of the customer and that, given the services I had received, I believed the $90 charge to be more than reasonable. I'm not sure where people think they are entitled to a tip but this craziness has to stop! I will not be back to this location. read more

We ended up with 20 minutes of foot massage and 30 minutes of the other which included a LOT of work on our butts which none of us wanted and was actually a little uncomfortable. How I count the ways how much I love this place. I've had a lot of foot massages in my life, having lived in China and traveled throughout Asia. I live in Atlanta now, and this is my favorite place in Dallas (and Atlanta). The environment is clean, quaint, cozy, and comfortable. It has modest decorations that remind me of China, the reclining chairs are relaxing, the massages are excellent, and the staff are friendly and warm. (Not always the case at massage places.) My fiancée and I will drive from across town or plan to be around Lake Highlands just to get a massage at YIYI. They're a secret gem and I almost want to keep them for myself, but I can't. I had a headache today so I decide to check this place out to see if I could get some relief. It did the trick. A few things to note both positive and I wish were a little different. First, the person who performed my foot massage checked his temp and showed me the results and then checked mine and did the same. That made me feel safer. Everyone inside had on masks and social distances was observed. He applied the perfect amount of pressure and spent equal time on both feet/legs. The only downside is that they don't offer the 40/20 split for neck and back with the foot massage. But as a consolation he did offer to spend 10 minutes on my neck/back at the end of my massage. I appreciated that effort. For the price I would go back, but I would love if they offered a combo/split massage for those of us who have really tight necks. read more
