They provided me with appropriate amounts of anesthetic and I really didn't feel anything. I didn't like the sounds (other than my choice of calming music); that's appropriate. The actual procedure was about 5 minutes long and no follow up is anticipated be needed there. A project well done. The healing process isn't too bad, either.

Based upon his great recommendation, I decided to make Dr. Pantano my regular dentist as well. I have probably had $20,000+ in dental work done over the past decade or so. I have had work done on probably every single tooth...from simple fillings to root canals to crowns...you name it. I have gold crowns and porcelain crowns on my molar teeth and on my front teeth. The same goes for my dad. Genetics are a pain...aren't they? All of our work has been one at one place...Russell Hill Dental. I really love the work that they do and trust their opinion. They could easily rip my off just like several other dentists. It is easy to do since i have such bad teeth, however Dr. Pantano is an honest and decent dentist. One time he noticed something on an x-ray after I had left and called me in to have a second look. He gave me a 1-hour appointment in case I needed to get work done. When I went into the office, he took a close look and said that I did not need to get anything done that day. He could have easily found something small and drilled away, but he sent me home instead. I respect that. The hygienists are also awesome. They do an excellent job cleaning your teeth. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because I will admit the prices are a little bit higher than the other dentists in the area. My mother sees a dentist which charges 40% lower prices than Russell Hill Dental. My issue is that I have horrible teeth so I don't want to risk going to another dentist. I will continue to be a patient at Russell Hill Dental as long as I can afford it :-)

Which is great because I am a mom and a working professional. The office is easy to find and has ample parking. I was taken for my appointment right on time . Dr. Ibrahim did a thorough exam and answered many questions I had relating to possible treatment. He was very reassuring and put this self conscious and nervous gal right at ease. And guess what?! He doesn't even charge for consults! It's evident that Dr. Ibrahim is not only warm and kind but also a doctor who really cares about people. I will be transitioning all my dental care to Dr. Ibrahim.

I hate to post bad reviews I really do. But this one needs to be warranted…read more Due to some unforeseen circumstances, my insurance changed I could no longer see my regular dentist. I found a dentist that took mass health. So I set up the appointment. Luckily, they could get me in right away as I told him I was having some tooth pain. I saw a doctor Mo. Very personable. I'll be at it seemed like the office was really busy and kind of rushed, but I'm OK with that if the Services are great. It means people like them. He examined me for a bit, didn't even take an x-ray, and told me that"tooth number 28 needed a crown! He explained to me that I must've had a root canal done, but there was no crown there. I've listened to him, but couldn't imagine that I had ever had a root canal done and never had a crown put on. My teeth are not great, so doing something like that is against anything I would ever have done in the past. So I set up an appointment for the next week for the crown. On the way home, I called my regular dentist and explained what it happened and asked them if I had ever had a crown on that tooth that might've fallen off. My memory isn't the greatest sometimes, maybe I just never came back or something. My former dentist told me to come right in and they would take a look at my mouth. When taking a look at my mouth, I was informed that I did have a crown on tooth number 28. And I'll be at a new style crown, there was one there so he didn't understand why Dr. Mo was saying there was no crown there. I called back SNY dental, and informed them of what I had found out. The girl on the phone couldn't have been less enthusiastic when I informed her that indeed I did have a crown on the tooth that the doctor wanted to put a crown on, then it wouldn't be continuing with their services because of the fact he couldn't even realize that it was a crown and not my own(of course this is saying some wonders for my former dentist as if he could do a crown that nobody recognized was a crown. I guess that's really good right?!) I found out after the fact as well that SNY dental build mass health for a different tooth. Not even when they looked at, and not even one that they saw had problems with it. When I called them back to let them know that they had processed the wrong tooth. They didn't care. So I had to call mass health to tell them that the dentist office put in for Services. They didn't provide. Stay away from this place. The fact that this dentist couldn't recognize a crown and wanted me to have $2400 worth of services done without even taking any x-rays or anything? Frightening.

Also, I was impressed by her new office-- the quality of her staff, the technology she's invested in, and the fact that there is parking in front. I called the practice to let them know we would be a little late and no one picked up, so I left a voicemail. When we arrived (15 min late), there was NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN THE WAITING ROOM, but they said they were cancelling both our appointments and would not see us. I am a health care provider at a busy hospital practice myself and I cannot imagine refusing to see my patients under the same circumstances. If PDA's business model relies on scheduling appointments with such a compressed schedule that they can't or won't accommodate any late arrivals (even as a first time event from an established patient and without anyone waiting), they obviously do not care about patients or the service they provide. While it's unlikely to make a dent in their hefty incomes, we won't be returning.
