There were also other COVID-19 prevention procedures in place in the treatment areas that made me feel safe to be there. Jenny my hygienist did an great job taking care of me, she is always friendly professional and very good at what she does. I am not usually one to complain but what happened with doctor Elena at willowbrooke dental was…read moreatrocious. My husband chipped his tooth and we went to get it fixed. Dr Elena removed an additional two fillings he had as she told us they had fused together. She also put on the temporary crown. A couple days later my husband was complaining the two teeth w were very sharp- and were aggravating his tongue. When he showed me his tongue there was a puncture wound and blood caused by the sharp teeth. He called asking if they could help him and file them down but asked to do so before his appointment on September 12, they were able to do so, but told him because his teeth were so thin they couldn't grind them down much. A week later his tongue became very infected. When I called and explained the situation doctor Elena laughed at me. That's when I became frustrated and explained it wasn't funny as my husband hadn't eaten in two days. She then told me I was a joke to call on my husbands behalf- and she would only speak to him. I told her he was at home but I would get him to call. I then asked to speak to a manager about the way she was rude. She began speaking to the manager while I could hear- saying I was unreliable, and didn't know what I was talking about. She then told me she wouldn't talk to an idiot and then hung up. I had my husband call and she told me he needed to "shut up and let me talk" and then told him to call back in 30 minutes if he could realize she wasn't god then he could call back. They have charged us almost $300 for the crown and refuse to refund us since we are not comfortable having them put his crown in after the service

Also, customer service wise .. oh boy it changed a lot to the worst! It's like day and night. I understand the covid-19 has affected everybody. But they don't do follow ups like before. If you don't take the bull by the horn and call them and try to set things straight .. they don't care anymore. I did my scan (for the millionth time) .. they issued new trays in February (we are technically July). It was a nightmare to try to find a date that will work for me and them to come and simply stick those trays in my mouth. I have asked many months ago to send them to my place like they did once before. They refused. And 3 months later ... after i started to lose my patience (today: they decided to send them - and they tried to tell me that i am responsible if things don't go right: what a nice way to blame the client for your own wrong doings). They could of sent it months ago and not lose 5months and have my teeth crooked again. Since Doctor Sophie left, i find that things are not the same. Patsy was always the best and she is still the best. But unfortunately i keep asking to talk to her and deal with her but apparently she can't do anything. honestly: i wish i never started my Invisalign in this clinic. Plenty of clinic offering same products downtown vancouver... i didn't need to commute to Langley (70Km each way every-time i have an appointment - which usually last 10min). So far the quality of health care is stellar. The location is a little tricky as they are situated behind Langley hospital and can be a bit confusing to find. My maps was confused. However, I found it and it makes me feel more confident that they are close to the hospital. The only downside is the pay parking. $7 for 2 hours. I thought that was a bummer since moving out of the city the benefit to living in the suburbs is avoiding the money grab by the city parking meters. Dr. Yaz is very professional and friendly. Dr. Bittner has been the specialist that , over the last five years, has managed to save a number of my teeth that were ruined by 20 years of hack dentists who I should never have allowed to try to root canal my teeth. My regular dentist, who I love, and who does all my regular dental stuff, doesn't even try to do my Endodontics... I just go to Bittner. The office team here is fantastic, such nice people, and very efficient and caring. The technology they have is unbelievable, and Dr. Bittner himself is so great. His expertise is second to none, and his bedside manner is reassuring friendly and helps so much if you are at all nervous of dental work. He tells the worst jokes... ever... be warned... seriously. Terrible lame jokes, and I love it. He is a nice man and not arrogant. Just for perspective, I have had so much dental work in my life, nasty invasive, painful abscess type stuff that I don't get nervous for any reason. I fall asleep with a drill running in my mouth... but I know some people still are freaked. Everything about the procedure was explained ahead of time, I was given appropriate medications for pain management and the staff was beyond lovely. Everything wrapped up in just over an hour. I was sent home with a phenomenal care package and steps for check up in 1 year. Dr Conn and his assistant Emily were fabulous and I am in no pain hours after the freezing is out. Highly recommend to anyone in need of complex dental procedures!
