So, I've been seeing the elder Dr (William) Ruskin (William Ruskin is Aaron Ruskin's father) in the…read moresame practice for about 8 years and have had nothing but very positive experiences through 3 extractions and 4 implants. Also, I had one implant incorrectly installed in Ohio which failed, leaving me in significant pain, and Dr. Ruskin was able to get me in immediately to remove the failed implant. He later replaced the failed implant and I have had no problems the replacement. As for the staff, yes I have experienced some abruptness from certain staff members but I'd stop short of calling it rude (more like mildly unpleasant). Also, this was more of a problem 3-4 years ago at the Brighton office and I never experienced it at the Farmington Hills office except when some calls were automatically redirected to Brighton from Farmington Hills. Finally, yes they do not like to dig into your insurance details if they are not a participating provider, as it was for me in past years. However, in cases where my implants were not covered by insurance, they participate in something called DentaMax which gives a discount on the uncovered procedures (about 25%-30% for me) (but you still have to pay). I personally overlook the administrative issues in favor of the excellent quality of care and see Dr Ruskin exclusively for my extractions and implants. Dr. William Ruskin has always listened to me as a patient and is a great doctor.

Started going here for many years, the service was ok, and one time i had to switch appointments…read morewith my Father, and after that is was a complete disaster. i got a lady that cleaned my teeth, and i didn't really feel like they were cleaned very well. after that i scheduled my next appointment with the lady i have had clean my teeth for almost 10 years. got a new job took time off to have my teeth cleaned, haven't even worked there for 2 weeks and i come in and they canceled my appointment without contacting me, they contacted my dad. I'm a legal adult, they are not allowed to contact other family members. my dad didn't respond as he left after they screwed up his crown 2 times. and when i get there i get told sorry, please come back tomorrow we can stay open late for ya. who outright just doesnt contact the actual patent that is going to have his teeth cleaned. TBW I'm 26 well passed the age the my parents would take care of my medical appointments etc. all in all they handled this terribly. this office is a hack, and i would stay far away from it. they have lost my whole family's trust and we have since moved to a different dental practice that actually cares about there customers and wants them to have good teeth.

Fractured my root tip during a root canal, he was so rough, got an awful infection. root canal…read moreredone, new crown. after about 6 months the crown came off, and the tooth was full decay underneath. My gums surrounding the remaining tooth were so inflamed and bleeding, I begged him to just pull the tooth. Told me it would be another $300 to pull. I financed over $3000 for tooth I had to have pulled. The least he could have done is pull the damn tooth. I had the tooth pulled by an oral surgeon who confirmed the root tip was fractured. Also look Dr. Stilanos up on LARA, through the state of Michigan website, that should tell you enough.

If she didn't hang up on me, I would have simply rescheduled. Yes. She hung up on me. Stay away from whatever is going on at this location.
