I have been very skeptical about laser hair removal for years and have put it off for a long time but after having several friends and family members start the process I figured I would give it a try. My friend got her services done at this location and recommended I check them out. I did a little research read some reviews and called to set up my appointment. I scheduled my consultation and went in a few days later. I was greeted by Nicole she took care of me and answered all my questions. The technician who performed the removal was quick. While it did not hurt it was a little uncomfortable. I've only had one session done so far I have five more left in my treatment but as of now I am very pleased. Update*** While I love the customer service here, I feel as if I wasted my money. I was interested in affordable laser hair removal at a convenient location, in a clean facility, and with trained staff. Fortunately for me, Novopelle meets all of this criteria. My technicians have both been pleasant and have told me what to expect after each treatment. Scheduling is easy, as they have an online appointment system and are also reachable by phone. Let me reiterate that the pricing is the lowest by far that I have seen for LHR. I would recommend arriving early and if you can, blocking out extra time around your appointment, as I see that they sometimes run late. The treatment, however, takes mere minutes. I purchased a Groupon of 6 laser treatments in a small area for $99 and I've had great results and experience from Novopelle. The main reason why I chose Novopelle is that they have the YAG Gentlelase machine that is good for people who have a darker skin tone. Basically, they are able to increase the intensity on this machine on these skin types without it burning or discoloring. Your technician should know better to not turn it up on a regular machine if you are darker complected (as I had learned from another med spa). My 6 treatments have spread out over a course of a year, and my experience with the staff at Novopelle have all been positive. My technician is always friendly and welcoming, and will even assess if you have had much growth before doing the treatment - that way you don't waste any. Treatments for small areas are quick (5 min tops) so it's important to be on time for your appointment. They are very strict as I am sure they run on a tight schedule. I do recall a time where I was stuck in traffic and was 5 min late and they already went to their next client and I had to wait 30 minutes to get my treatment. So definitely keep punctuality as a priority if you choose to get treatments here. Tips are accepted in cash via their envelope system as well. You can tip each time, or altogether at the end of your treatment package. read more

I've been going to Novopelle for about 1 year now for laser hair removal and I am very pleased with the results. I'm a dark skinned AA female and for darker skin, it always more sensitive to burn with laser hair removal so they utilized the YAG laser for me. I have never been burned or experienced any bad results or outbreaks after the treatments. You aren't supposed to have sun exposure 30 days prior to the treatment or take any multivitamins so following instructions is very necessary too! :) As for the pain level, granted, this is a laser so it does more than tickle when they are zapping you but for the more sensitive areas like the brazilian and underarms, you can buy numbing cream which works really well for me. The session are only 30 minutes so you can get through it. Every session they turn up the intensity and I've never been brought to tears either so its not mind blowing horrible. I go for treatments once a month and have had pretty much all the hair on my body removed. I've found that hair grows back much thinner and that's if it grows back! Everything from my brazilian area to my underarms to my legs has such minimal hair grow that I haven't shaved any of them in a very long time. The technicians are all super sweet females who have seen it all so no need to feel embarrassed about the eagle spread on the table. (shout out to my tech today Nicole!!) I would highly recommend this location and all the folks who work there. They are all great! One of my main concerns was about burning my skin with the laser and this team put them all to rest. It's an expensive investment but for me it was well worth it since I was very self conscious about being hairy. I have had laser hair removal done in the past, so I knew basically what to expect. The staff and service is wonderful! They are informative about the procedure and explain everything you need to know in advance. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the appointments go by fast. They don't make you wait and they don't waste your time. The ladies always seem to remember you and are extremely friendly. They also call you the day before your scheduled appointment to remind you. They are open on Saturdays, which is a big help for people who work Monday through Friday. Charging if you cancel an appointment is common practice with establishments like this because customers sometimes flake out. However, there is no charge for you to call in advance and reschedule your appointment. So I don't know why people complain about that. As far as laser hair removal goes, yes, it can eventually become uncomfortable in sensitive areas so if you have a low threshold for pain don't bother. Personally, I'm thrilled with the results. The technician explains upfront that the hair growth will be patchy and thin as the process goes on. It takes at least 6, if not more, treatments for permanent hair reduction. You have to shave the area before your appointment otherwise the treatment will not be effective. I highly recommend this location because the staff is pleasant, the prices are affordable, and the treatments are fast and effective. read more

I was brought to this place by a client of mine (which referrals are the best because you can literally see for yourself) who has great skin (so you know the lasers didn't mess up her skin at all) and is hairless all over her body from this place!! So anyway, I went to Novopelle for myself, and had the best experience!! NICOLE was so amazing, very informative, and made me feel super comfortable. The entire staff was very professional and easy going, and all very welcoming. I couldn't believe the great deal $99 bucks a month for as many spots on your body you can do in a half hour!!?? Love Novopelle. I started my laser hair removal treatments about 5 years ago pre babies. I was only able to get about 2 of the 6 done. I saw results from the few treatments. They were also able to freeze my account. Awesome! So this year I was able unfreeze and continue my treatments. They have always been very very nice. I had a good experience overall. I purchased 6 treatments for $99 (small area) during a special, which is so worth it. Being darker skinned, I was very wary about laser hair removal, having head that it can burn the skin since the machine detects pigment. The staff answered all of my questions/concerns, and even explained the settings and how it works. 6 treatments done and no skin burns... and more importantly, no hair. They offer some touch ups on the house. I can't say the process is painless, but it's fast and tolerable. I asked one of the techs if it's more painful than a tattoo and she laughed... if you can handle body art, this will be nothing (apparently). They're pretty strict on their cancellation policy, so don't be late/cancel last minute. read more

I saw their deals on Groupon and went to for a consultation. They honored the Groupon rate for 3 separate areas and my total was only $600 for 6 treatments each area. Keep in mind that you'll have to purchase numbing cream before every treatment if you want respite from the laser, but it's worth it and I'm glad I can get it from them with out a pharmacy Rx. I purchased a groupon for 6 laser hair removal treatments. Overall, the treatments seemed to be working but their machines HURT like crazy. It was like I was being tortured every time I had an appointment. I'm not sure if I'm just really sensitive but I would actually dread going in for my treatments. I even purchased the numbing cream that they offered but that didn't help either. I stopped going after my 5th one because of the pain. Hopefully they've upgraded their machines since then! This is the worst place ever. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Technicians are not trained on there job functions therefore seeing no hair loss removal. I would persistently talk to the techs and managers about how I wouldn't see any hair loss and they continued with false promises. They constantly switch staff members and management and will not take liability for a past employers/technisions. Quick to put the blame on someone else instead of taking ownership as a company. I talk to management about a problem and what they told me was quote: "Sorry that person no longer work with us". If you want to go to a place that can really talk you into their services but yet not meet there expectation's is the place! Cheap place, but you pay for what you get....bad services, bad results, bad experience!!! Only rated this place ONE star becauseit wouldnt let me rate any lower!!! read more

So I obtained a Groupon to check this place out. My first time coming I had horrible experience with non other than the manager!! She did my first session and I had the worst attitude. I decided to ask for someone different to see if it was just a clash between personalities and I'm so glad I did!!! I have now gone for about 4 more sessions (and planning on using them for anything and everything else) with Nicole Bigeleisen and I'm SOLD!!! She is so wonderful!! She makes sure to make you feel welcomed, always makes a point to know her clients by name, and not only that she's always in such a positive spirit!! She always makes a point to really pay close attention to her clients which really makes you feel like she's one of your girlfriends . She has the best personality and GREAT customer service!!
