This place is so wonderful! The customer service was spectacular, they fit me in the very next day when they had an opening from someone else cancelling. It only took 2 hours for them to remove my shattered vent window and install my new window. I provided the window for the install and they cleaned off all the sticker residue and everything for me. It looks absolutely perfect. I am so happy! They gave me the cheapest price out of anyone in lake Charles. I have had work done at Novus for the past several years. First up, my truck windshield replaced. They did a nice job and were super friendly. Next up, passenger side window on my 2014 Nissan Versa note driver's side window. Hand crank, not electric power window. Simple. They ordered the wrong window for a Versa sedan, not the Note. Took a couple of extra days. Finished the window, looked fine. Driving around after that you could hear broken glass that hadn't been completely vacuumed out. Annoying. They also do safety inspections. Never had a problem, fast and friendly. Bought my third vehicle used and went there for a safety inspection sticker. The woman (one of the owners!!) was rude to me for no reason. No one wears a mask during COVID, and she refused to inspect the vehicle without a "bill of sale"! Picked up my purchase order from the dealership and they had never heard of such a thing. They called her. She told them the same thing. Went to Discount Glass & Mirror on Sampson Street in Westlake and they helped me right away, were friendly and accepted my temporary registration paper. I don't k of what's going on with Novus, but they're going down in quality and service and they have little to no regard for public safety! read more
