Maybe a very bad day there? Before arriving, I had to confirm my appointment six times and many different ways. They kept trying to offer me different times to come in at the discount. When I arrived, they had already checked someone in under my name. Rather than tell me this directly, I had to overhear and confusion ensued. When I was brought back to a room, the technicians had me down for the wrong service. We moved rooms. There was first a heavy sales pitch for a membership, which I said kindly, and clearly that I wasn't interested in. They kept pushing to work on my face, which again, I was not interested in. After my service ... They forgot to take measurements which would have indicted something worked. No towel to drape over me while they went around room to room. There were two people in the room, the whole time which was unnecessary. Then after my service, there was more work to try and sell me on a membership. My filler injections were very disappointing. I have had them done several times over the past 15 years. I paid more for my fillers here with less results. After my follow up appt with the technician and knowing that I was disappointed- she made me feel like I should have told her what amounts I needed to get the results I wanted. I think when you go to a professional they need to have that knowledge- isn't that what you are paying for? I will continue with my skincare package, but will have to go else where for fillers, laser treatments or other more intensive procedures. read more

Total waste of my time . They were happy to take my money and leave me sitting there for an hour only to tell me that they couldn't do a treatment on me because I had tanned in the last 2 weeks . Update: I arrived 30 minutes early after they called me yesterday to do so AFTER I had already confirmed my appointment a day earlier. They said I no longer had an appointment and wanted me to wait for 1.5 HRS until there was availability. I said no I have a full workday I cant blow off work. Today's facial was one of the most gentle/ non-evasive one I've ever had. I still remember the last facial I got at a different spa about 2 years ago to which my skin reacted to some of the ingredients they used on my face and it took me almost 2 weeks before my skin completely recovered from it (I had these red lines on both of my cheeks as if someone with long fingernails scratched my face from top to bottom; it was a horrific experience to say the least.) So to go in for today's facial with NovuSkin, I really needed to muster up my courage (so to speak!) By the way, today's session became free at the last minute as they reached out to me and asked if the appointment could be moved to 3pm from 4:30pm if they waived the introductory fee of $49. I, of course, said yes to it! Savannah (my esthetician) was very thorough and gentle when handling my skin/face. When she and I sat down and chatted before the procedure, she not only took the time to listen to me as to my concerns but also ensured that none of the products she would use on my face would be really strong or evasive. She also explained to me that NovuSkin is a medical facial place which is different from other facial salons. No wonder she kept assuring that they are result-driven facial place. I was able to relax the whole duration of the facial. My middle-aged skin (parched like a desert) was well nourished with hydration. I don't know if I'll be a member with them (the membership fee is pretty costly). They didn't force me to be one at the end of the session which was also nice. But I'd love to go back for a one-off treatment soon!! read more

I scheduled an appointment based on a promotion they were advertising. Contacting them was most difficult. It seems like- in addition to the a person engaging with potential clients -there is an answering service. When attempting to call and speak with someone, I was never able to connect with anyone. An automation would respond and state, there's no one in the cue to answer my call and hangup. Needless to say, it was concerning so I cancelled the appointment. However, I did receive a callback k after my cancellation and offered 60% off the promotional service- which I declined. Not all issues/concerns, or questions can be answered through automation. Booked a chemical peel here and was told they do a diagnostic analysis of my skin to customize a program - ok fine. I'm brought back, they take a couple photos and my aesthetician is talking about how their NP is here today and can really give me a deep dive on my skin. I get taken back to the room and am told she'll be right back. 45 minutes goes by. Finally she comes in and the room doesn't have what she needs so she leaves to grab a couple things. 10 minutes later I'm rushed through the service after waiting by myself an hour. She goes through my "diagnostic analysis" for two minutes as I'm walking out the door. Incredibly inconsiderate of peoples time. I won't be back. read more

This is 100% the product of a business trying to pump in too many people without the ability to manage, maintain or properly service their customers. I finally said I'd like to cancel my membership at which point I gotta absorb and bill around $1000 for some poorly marketed products. They forced me to get when I started going there. Let me first say I drive 20 miles each way to come here once a month. Been coming since April. I have had treatments done by many different women but today I met Cindy. I over heard her speaking with another client and I thought in my head WOW she's so sweet and helpful, I hope I get her today. And I did!!! She was such a breath of fresh air! She educated me of all the "hows" and "whys" of my treatments and then explained how to prep before I come and what to do after so that I will get results at the highest potential. I felt like she really CARES about my progress and I love that! Too many places we go where the people just don't speak and act like robots to get you in and out and it's just a job to them. Not Cindy! She made me feel so special and cared for on every level. The spa is beautiful and clean and Cindy brightens the place up with her amazing customer service skills. Discount treatments though you will also get inconsistency between clinicians. Ask for extra numbing and they will still use it sparingly. Come in early for that extra numbing, have the earlier time confirmed twice, and they will leave you sitting in the waiting room until your actual time. Waste your time, not theirs. I signed up to try a free facial and ws supposed to get a free night cream. The free facial was mostly time. spent on presentation. They used ultrasonic or whatever machines to help the product absorb, but they did it for less than minute. My friend goes there and they spend much more time on application and machines. Also I was suppose dot get a free sample of eighth cream. When I asked about it, they didn't know what I was talking about. I showed them the printed paper with the promo and they gave me a token face serum in a tiny vial. A couple weeks ago I gave my wife a ride to have a service done. I figured that I would wait there in the waiting area as it looked clean and inviting. Until I heard what appeared to be a supervisor talking poorly about one of her staff. They were whispering but I could hear every word. I heard the staff members name (but don't want to post it here) I could not believe the unprofessionalism I had witnessed. I left to wait in my car. I texted my wife. After her service I told her what I had witnessed. She knew the name of the employee and stated that this employee is her favorite and gives the best services. She was shocked at what I told her that I heard. I'm only posting this now because my wife just informed me that this young women no longer works there. She is horrified to think that it was due to poor management and not the quality of her work. She will not be renewing her membership. We have daughters in the work field and could not imagine if their employers were this careless and unprofessional with clients within ear shot. Before leaving I asked the front desk the names of the employees I heard speaking. Jasmine. So if you see this Jasmine...DO BETTER. And Novuskin you just lost our business. This review is two years in the making. I have invested over 2 years and THOUSANDS of dollars into Nuvoskin. I sincerely made the effort to go every month and have literally done every procedure for the face, multiple times. It's been such a turn-off to have Cindy pander to me about my "results" and the final straw was the Morpheus 8 treatment that melted the fat in my cheeks because the needles went too deep. I asked to see my pics from a year ago and almost cried looking at them. My skin looks so absolutely lax and atrocious compared to last year and yet the aesthetician had the audacity to go on about my improvements. I think it's best to leave medical procedures to qualified medical doctors. read more

But when it comes to actually making it right, they could care less as long as they get their money. Thankfully, I just paid off my amount due ($145 per month for the last 12 months, only got 7 treatments and my last one was a few months ago). It pained me to have to make that payment the last few months knowing that my money was going to a place with poor customer service ethics. But moving on!
