And to add insult to injury, the system stops working every year (which you have to monitor). Save yourself the cost and instead make a generous contribution to an environmental charity and you'll come out better financially and your donation will help the cause of saving the environment in a more effective manner.

Both the output and guarantee were the best in the industry. I contacted PowerHouse Solar because they were listed as an "elite" SunPower dealer. I couldn't be more pleased with that decision. The owner, Bruce Blake and his sight manager, Garrett came to our home and evaluated our damages. They were thorough, knowledgeable and very professional in their evaluation. After getting approval by the insurance adjusters I gave them the go ahead. Approximately four weeks later they installed the new array and did an outstanding job. The installation took slightly more than one day and included the removal and recycling of the old system and installation of 21 new panels and the required rails by a team of six technicians. All team members were polite and professional and went the extra mile in terms of being helpful and efficient. They actually left the work sight cleaner than when they started! The new system is working exactly as described and should reduce our energy costs to about zero. We have built homes and remodeled over the years which is often fraught with delays and missed deadlines. NONE of that was an issue with PowerHouse Solar. I called in on 2/27 asking for a price to replace it and was told they would have to get back to me. Ok no problem, I'm sure I was one of dozens of calls they got for that same thing. Fast forward to Monday April 3, I emailed the owner directly because I have not heard anything back after what I feel was a very generous amount of time I waited. No response. Keep in mind all I wanted was a price on a panel and I would even be willing to install it myself. I waited another week and still no response. Sunday April 9 I emailed the owner again asking for a price or at least a model number so I knew what to order. I got a (what I deemed as) rude email back telling me "currently working on the April 14 NEM 2 deadline all service calls and correspondence has been put on hold until we get past this deadline. As you mentioned this is not a warranty issue and it is not an emergency". I'm sorry I didn't realize you couldn't find 3 minutes get me a price on a panel or even tell me your reason for the delay within the almost 2 months I've waited. This is the level of service after the sale $58,000 gets you.
