I called at 6pm they close @ 7pm We'll there is another Nail salon Right next door, so In a Rush I accidentally went to the other Nail salon ( had a Terrible experience there as well ) I called MQ nails back today And she literally yelled at me for not showing up yesterday I tried to explain to her the confusion She told me Word for Word " are you Pranking me " And you are not welcome back. Please stop wasting our time. When I was just genuinely trying to set an appointment because I have came to this location before and had a OK experience for the cost I am not one to rewrite views I've maybe wrote three total in my whole life and 27 years I just cannot believe the disrespect she had over the phone Also, they have now just lost a loyal customer. I would have came here every other week for the next few years. Highly recommend staying away! read more

I went here last month and even with an appointment had to wait almost an hour. I decided to try again today . Today they were on time but put me with an unskilled older lady. Her hands were rough and her nails dug into my skin. I showed the owner the marks on my hands 3 times and she said something in Chinese to the woman doing my hands. The woman said sorry . She did not file or cut cuticles correctly therefore she had to do my hand completely over. Manicure took an hour! Next pedicure first she sprayed the water up and pants were wet on thighs. She didn't understand what I was saying until she saw how wet I was. I asked her to cut nails short on toes as I walk a lot . This had to be redone twice. No lotion or massage on legs as previously done last month. I have received mani pedis every month for decades and this is my worst experience ever! Many other salons to go to. read more

Depending on who you get for acrylics really makes a difference in the quality of the nails. I returned many times and eventually gave up because maybe 2 of the 6 times I went I didn't hate my nails when I left. Most of the time I left with really thick, lumpy, and bubbly acrylics. I've even had to to refile/repolish on my own at home to make them look decent. read more

This place was amazing! First time going there and will definitely be recommending that people utilize this nail salon. They were so accommodating and helpful, and the service/product was great. I went in with my mom, she got a mani-pedi and I ended up doing a dip with design. The woman who did my nails recommended it based on what I wanted, then showed me on acrylic tips what it would look like with 2 variations. I really appreciated her taking the time to show me these options. They ended up coming out great, and both my mom and I felt well taken care of, happy with the end results and felt it was reasonably priced. read more

Me and My sister in law got my nails done yesterday and they didn't paint the side of the nail and I got no chip and they turned a really ugly color I went back today to get them fixed but they still didn't paint it right now their look worse because they aren't even they look like it has a lot of nail polish. Awful. Just awful. I called for an appointment, to which still had to wait ten minutes. The nail technician was rude, actually scraped my knuckles filling off my previous no-chip, and after doing a horrible job (I have color all over my finger tips) proceeded to go on her phone for a good five minutes after I was done waiting to pay. There were bleach buckets out and the place if filthy. This is not the first time I have been grossed out by this place, but with so many salons lacking employees had to go here and truly regret it. read more

Went here for the first time today and was overjoyed by the way the lady did my nails, she gave me exactly what I wanted and more! She even was able to give me the shape I wanted even tho my nails weren't exactly long. And when they fixed my eyebrows they actually took their time and made sure they were even on both sides. This nail salon is wonderful. Have been coming here for the past 8 years and always go to thomas and tweety. I have very brittle nails and they always accommodate things to my liking and make sure my nails stay and remain healthy. Pedicures are nice and relaxing, especially if you get the sea salt with extra massage and the manicures are done fast and my nails always end up looking great with the no chip polish. Definitely will continue coming here! read more

I'm not impressed with Cary Nails. The service was sub par, the full gel set I got looks like a 5 year old did it. The shape is bad, the no chip nail polish has chipped already and it's been less than 24 hours. My pedi was nice, that's about it... I do not recommend Cary Nails. They just don't take their time. Not a fan. Look for a new salon, or you'll be sorry. read more

Not friendly at all. Had a pedi, and it was the worst pedi ever. I didn't get a scrub, I didn't get hot towels, she basically just gave my feet/legs a quick rub with lotion. She didn't ask if I wanted nail art. She hurt me when she was trimming the cuticles and the nails. I'm terrible with names, so I don't know who it was or even if she's still there. Last time I went was spring 2010. Prices are the same as other nail salons in the area. read more

Hands down worst mani I've ever had! The staff wasn't friendly at all. My sister and I went there yesterday and during our manis we each had three different techs. They kept switching between clients and never washed their hands in between. Their filing, cuticle cleaning and polish job were very poor. I would never go there again. read more

If I could do -5 this use to be my go to spot I'd give them chance after chance but after getting a nail infection on almost all my nails from lack of sanitation at this salon and getting all my nails literally torn and ripped off never would recommend here. Over priced and rude service as well. 31 nail care in crystal lake has definitely changed the game though and my nails are healthy and healing finally still in process from the bad infections. read more

Yes, this place is awful. I don't know why I've been here twice, I guess out of convenience because it is close to my house. The people here straight up suck. I mean BAD. They are SO rude. They barely said a word to me the entire time I was there (besides trying to up-sell me on every service I was having done). Then, a couple (man and wife) walked in and it was like all of the technician's faces lit up and they were all so freakin' excited to see these people. They must be great tippers. It was irritating. The guy who did my nails hurt me and made me bleed twice. The pedicure I got was awful and my nails wound up looking worse than if I had painted them at home. I just do not recommend this place at all. Also, the first time I was there, there were two women rolling egg rolls and other foods and piling them up in trays in the back of the salon just a few stations away from me! Talk about gross! (Let's just hope they don't supply the Chinese restaurant down the street!) This place is very dirty, they do not wash their hands at all and there is white "dust" all over everyone's work stations which is super gross. Don't go here! I will never be back. read more

I am so upset with my nail fill. When I sat down I was not asked any questions on shape or what I was looking for. The worst part is that I should not be in pain and bleeding after a manicure, but here we are. Not only was the manicurist rude when I asked a question, the owner came and finished up... putting alcohol on the open wound and disregarding the blood that was spilling into the polish. Getting your nails done should be a relaxing experience. I will not be returning and advise you to find somewhere else. read more

As friendly as the people are here, their quality of nails are horrid. I went in to get a fill on my nails which according to their price board, was $16. I got just a regular no chip color. When I was checking out, I was charged $30, 14 extra dollars for no chip paint. A day later, without doing crazy activities, one of my nails chipped. I went in and they happily fixed it but, the next day, three more chipped! I wasn't even going to bother going to get them fixed knowing that they're going to chip again. Now, 6 days later, I have a total of 7 chipped nails. It's safe to say I will not be going back. Their good conversations are not worth the terrible quality. read more

This is the only place I get my nails done. They do an amazing job at a fair price. I have the gel nails and this is the only place where they stay on and I never have any problems. Seriously the WORST salon I have ever been too! First issue when I am paying for a spa pedicure the last thing I want to do is listen to all the employees FaceTime on the phone while screaming across the salon. Next instead of working or cleaning they have a platter of food the main lounge area where they have gathered to talk loudly, watch tv and put there naked feet on the table. Further more the actual lady giving me a pedicure was blowing her nose into a Kleenex while doing my feet. This poor lady came in and is waiting to get her nails done and 4 people are sitting around not helping her. This place is horrible. read more
