Recently, I got a regular pedicure, which was truly not a pedicure but rather just a toenail painting. I expected that the pedicure would include some sort of cleanup of the feet (using a pumice sponge/ stone & a callous shaver), as a basic pedicure often does, but I was disappointed. All the nail tech did was just put an exfoliating scrub on my feet and lotion on top, not ever going over my feet with any scrubbing sponge/ tool. I understand that there are more services involved in the more deluxe pedicures, however, in the nail salons that I have been to, a classic pedicure usually includes a simple cleanup/ care of the foot. The nail polish looked very nice and was thorough, however, if I had known that I was going to spend $30 for him to only put nail polish and lotion on my feet, I would have rather gladly done it myself. Additionally, when I paid in cash for the service, I had asked for the cash back to be in 2 smaller bills, and when the tech handed the money back he kept one of the bills for himself. I was going to tip him with one of the bills plus an additional few dollars anyway, but since I had not told him to keep that specific change, I found it odd that he immediately just took one of the bills without asking. I still tipped 20% even though I found the service to be disappointing, but honestly I thought it was very rude of him to assume.

I told her that I was calling to schedule a couple pedicures. She cut me off and very curtly told me that they are completely booked for the entire month, and then hung up. Horrible first impression!!! Not sure how they can stay in business with that kind of attitude.

The first visit on a Sunday morning I was extremely impressed with my gel set with no chip polish (blue) and french pedicure done by a younger male. This led to my second visit gel fill-in done by an older male who did an ok job with the black and white, little sloppy with the cleanup around the edges upon closer inspection. French pedicure was not as precise as I'd like but the tech was so pleasant I didn't mention it. I was a little disappointed overall but decided to try it one more time. Third time's the charm. I went midweek, decided to go with a regular pearl color for my toes and a silver no chip for my gel fill in. Jenny (I believe her name was) did a nice job using a hard to work with polish and my eyebrow wax. She paid close attention to detail. NB. I've visited first thing in the morning on each occasion as a walk-in and they are always busy so plan to spend time there or make an appointment. Extensive selection of polishes. Very clean. The box with the pink and orange colors was right there on the desk. I pointed out to him it was not the same. He said yes it's ok. I said will you put the matching color on the top and he said yes. At the end I showed him and the other employees that I have 2 different colors of polish. Their explanation was both bottles of polish had the same number and they were sorry. Four days later foot is still bleeding and painful. Literally had to ask him to get me a bandage. Was still charged for the pedicure. There was never an apology from him, when he was done he got up and walked away. I waited for 14 minutes for my daughter to be finished-we were there at the same time, my spa pedicure shortened but still charged. This was a treat from my daughter for my birthday, I guarantee she won't be back and they now lost a regular customer. When we told the owner Jenny about it she said she was aware and "accidents happen ". Called to talk to the owner Jenny today to tell her I felt this was handled poorly. They took me right away, soaked off my old dip for over 30 min in acetone. Pedicure was fine, nothing special. I've had much better. My nails is where it went wrong. She used the nail drill on my skin and cut me and made me bleed. Nails were done and I was satisfied. I woke up the next day and had a chip in my nail already. I went back the next day and she fixed it. Now, a day after that, another nail completely chipped.
