I decided to give Nationwide Real Estate Schools a try when I decided to go after my California Real Estate license. I had been licensed in another state and I figured it was time for the California license. I found a great price on the Groupon, too! The course is 10 weeks and includes a 2 hour Wednesday night lecture. The 3 required books are not included in the price. Other than Wednesday nights, you are studying on your own and the lectures won't necessarily coincide with the book that you are studying at the time. There is little to no interaction between "instructors" and students other than reading through PowerPoint presentations and receiving little to no real world application. Shout out to Tiffany! She is very professional, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about the course, taking the book tests, and anything you need to know about the process. It's too bad that she's no longer there. My main critique, and the reason for subtracting stars, would be with the revolving door of instructors for the first half of my 10 weeks, and that I would like to see an instructor who is actually passionate about being a real estate agent and that will interact with the class, and provide more real world experience instead of just reading the overheads and talking about their personal lives. 14/100 read more

After I finished the course they help you along the process of submitting your application to the DRE and, they help prepare me for the state exam. I have contemplated getting into Real Estate for a few years. Raising children, working and lack of time got in the way. I took a chance on the NRA. I started with a Groupon coupon. Very affordable and the process is very easy to follow. The recommended 10-week time frame to completion is within reach of anyone willing to put in the hours. Every week, they hold on-site lectures that go over the material of the accompanying classes. There are a total of 10 lectures that cycle through every 10 weeks, meaning you can enroll at any time within the cycle! The staff is friendly and while they do advertise their other educational products/programs, there was never pressure to buy them. Something that stood out to me was the continued correspondence after completing the course work. I was in continuous communication with Roxanne, she updated me on every part of the process up to passing the state exam and then some. And every time I had a question, she would respond extremely fast. While you can definitely keep track yourself, this was an unexpected, but welcomed, benefit. My brother bought me the groupon deal for this pre-licensing real estate courses at Nationwide Real Estate School and I couldn't thank him enough. The courses here are informative and are tailored to prepare you for the state exam. The schedules and locations for the courses are flexible and convenient. I was able to attend each lecture at the Long Beach location every Wednesday at 6pm after work. If you missed a lecture at your regular location you are welcome to attend any other location during that week. The courses are taught in a cycle schedule meaning each week all locations will be teaching the same lecture and you can start anytime. It's a 12 weeks long course but I completed it in 11 weeks. You have the freedom to learn at your own pace. Stephon was my instructor. He is a great instructor. He's entertaining and informative. The staffs here are great. Upon completion of the courses Griselda and Shannon helped me with my exam application. They made the process very simple. I was given 16 practice exams to study before the state exam. These exams are the perfect study guide. I passed on the first try. If you want to pass you must study and study. Good luck! read more

I gave this school 5 stars simply because of how amazing Greselda is!!! She's the oxygen to the breathing body of this company. I took all my courses there and all my classes and have failed 4 times until passing on my 5th. Simply because I wasn't studying as hard as I should've. She always remembered me even if I only saw her twice or so, she emailed to follow up with me, called me to follow up and congratulated when found out I passed. Also she put the effort to find a copy of my finger print live scan that I have lost somewhere so I could send it up to get my license. I've been to a couple RE classes from different companies but Nationwide offers the most in providing comprehensive term materials; books, homework, practice tests and more are all provided to help you pass the CA state exam. I Passed! What puts the icing on the cake is the flexibility of the classes. Each week, all locations have the same class, so if you miss a class in Long Beach, for example, you can take the same class in Buena Park on a different day. There are other locations but those are the two that I attended. Don and Griselda went above and beyond to help me pass my state exam! The classes are a bit odd in the beginning, to be honest, because Don has a particular way of teaching, which makes the 2 hour classes very interesting. If he makes a mistake, just tell him, "you're fired." Make sure you go to ALL of the classes, make your money's worth, y'know what I'm sayin? You will definitely learn a lot and if your head doesn't hurt at the end of the class, you must have come in late. Bring, BRing, BRING Coffee to class!! - you're welcome ;) Everything you need is provided to help you pass the CA RE exam but don't expect the school to hold your hand all the time. I am just amazed with this institute from day one. The staff is welcoming and incredibly kind to everyone. I attended my 12-week course in Mid-City, instructed by James, and I have always looked forward to making the drive through rush hour to be there. I bought their class on Living Social. It's part correspondence course and part live training. The classes were very informative and they teach you enough to pass the exam the first time around. I don't not recommend this school... I attended this school feeling like I haven't learned anything, all the instructor said to do was try to remember it for the test and that's it because you'll do all your learning once you're actually licensed... I ended up buying the online course so I can study for the state exam, I made sure I got at least 80 percent on each test before moving to the next. After passing all the test I felt confident about passing the state exam. I took the state exam two days ago and received a 68%! I was extremely disappointed because in order to pass you need 70%!... I was so close. With that being said the questions from the online course wasn't even on the state exam!.... maybe like 10 but that's it so I felt that the online class was also a waste of money. Now I have to pay to retake the exam, I feel that I'm just wasting money at this point. read more

I found Nationwide Real Estate School through groupon. It was a great deal! It was nice because they have different campuses and their classes are on different days of the week. If you can't make it to one location or class you can go to another in the same week. They provided all the learning info, tests, books, and test prep. The best thing about them is they stay with you until the very end and keep you on track. They made applying for the test so much easier. This is an exceptional school in a very convenient location. I had no experience in the Real Estate industry except for being a consumer. Don, the instructor, was able to present the lessons in a way that made it easy for a novice like me to understand yet seemingly keep the lessons engaging and entertaining enough for the more experienced students. They provide you with several tools (practice exams, access to recorded lessons etc.) to help you succeed. My boyfriend purchased this realistate training for me as a gift, I'm glad he did. The school's hours was very flexible and the instructor Don sutton is not just your ordinary boring dry talking instructor he's very good, he cracks jokes, tell's stories, and gets the crowd involved so your never bored at all. And also his assistant griselda she's good she helps you along the way, she went out of her way to help me when I could not make it to the crash course. She's the best. I was always talking about the school to my boyfriend so he signed up, and he told one of his friends he signed up and also his sister. I always enjoyed looking at nice looking homes, I really enjoy the show property brothers which is my favorite. I passed my test yaaaay! But you have to study, study, study I did I passed I'm so excited to start my career as a realistate agent.
