Been awhile since I got a tire repaired. They took a tire off of a Rim and installed, Mounted and balanced. The Price was 55.15, now I don't know if this is normal for 2-20-26 but that seems a bit much for a single tire repaired. But maybe I am wrong. Service was fast and workers were nice so 5 stars for that. The personnel called me 45 mins before I was to arrive for tires installation. The personnel said it hasn't arrived. I told him the website was showing it was in stock when I made my appointment. I couldn't reschedule, since I needed it today. I asked him if there was a substitute, but he claimed there wasn't one. I asked for the deposit refund and cancelled my appt. Made an appt. 3 weeks ago (online) for tires. Showed up for appt. Only to be told tires weren't in stock and it would take about a week. While there I asked about power steering check on my other car. I was told they could do the servuce and had the items needed. When in for my appt. On 4/29, waited 1 hour beyond appt time before they looked at car. Tech takes the car on test drive and says nothing is wrong. I told him what my experience was and he takes the car into the work area. 30 minutes later, someone comes to tell me I can leave the car overnight because they would need to order the items needed. I settled for an oil change. After 2 hours, my initial problem was NOT resolved and I was still charged the $158 fee plus the cost of oil change. I won't be back AGAIN.​ read more

Felix and Torres are the nicest guys I've ever met at a tire shop. They had me in and out in 10 minutes and treated me like a person and not a number! I appreciate the amazing customer service! I took my vehicle there about 2 months ago due to having a flat tire nearby. i had them replace the tire and change oil. It was overpriced but it was the closest place due to tire issue. I normally change oil on my vehicle myself. while changing oil myself after Mavis had changed it, I could not get my oil filter off due to them not lubricanting the filter prior to putting it on. I'm know having to bring it to a mechanic to get it off. Not pleased with the service there. read more

**go see sherry** Stop the guessing game, go to NTB 10/10 stars. Originally I had gone to the pep boys on gause and they told me my tire was not patchable which was hard to believe because of the prime positioning of the nail in my tire. Not only did it take 6 hours to get this response, but there prices were outrageous too. I went to autozone and oreilys next and they told me it wasn't worth plugging my tire, and I gave up and went up to NTB to get a new tire and this is when sherry told me I didn't need a new tire because they could patch the tire for me. In disbelief I left the car with them expecting a phone call saying I will need the tire after all, but sure enough the patch was more than enough and my tire is good as new. Thank you NTB, and thank you sherry for the expertise, warm welcoming, and quick professional service. Sherry, I know you're the store manager and can't promote yourself but it really shows why you are with how you handled several phone calls, needy customers, and backlogged requests all by yourself. This place saved us!! We were driving from Lafayette to Florida. Got a flat around 7:20 in Slidell area. This was the ONLY place still open. They agreed for us to come since it was so close to their closing time @ 8 and they fixed the tire in like 45 minutes. Impressive! And we were on our way! THANK YOU so much! Don't listen to their time quotes, they are guessed and not accurate. If they say 2 hours, expect 4. Staff professional when dealing with customers, not professional while conducting other tasks within the public eye. Would not recommend. Update: Had to go back due to tire being flat. They also didn't put my valve caps back on. Is 6 hours the normal amount of time to change 5 tires and change front brakes? Asking for a friend. read more

My youngest Son had a leaking tire that is less than a year old with PLENTY of tread left on it. It had been plugged one night to keep the car moving but when he went to NTB on Gause East this afternoon, he was told their policy is they cannot patch a plugged tire and he had to buy a new one. BS! He told them he would take it elsewhere to have it patched and thanked them. Their response was very rude and inappropriate. We had stopped going to NTB a couple years ago due to a bad experience with the manager after being a long time customer. After looking at the reviews, it appears some others had the same issue. There is now a new staff and we have returned. There was a small issue on our quote that was their mistake, not only did they compensate us for the issue without being asked to, they also threw in extra to make sure we were happy. I went in looking to get my oil changed but was not to sure on what oil change to get and I told them I was taking a drive to Austin Tx, and they said "synthetic for sure!" I would like to give THANKS to Kim at the E Gause Blvd Slidell location for taking care of an issue we had earlier this afternoon with an Enterprise rental car that the Mandeville NTB location wouldn't do. The rental car from Enterprise needed a front end/total alignment and also needed the tire pressure adjusted on all tires. Kim worked us into the schedule and got us right in!!!!!! The Mandeville office told use it would be 1 hour to get it done. After 1-1/2 hours the car hadn't even moved from the original parking spot we parked in when arriving there. The fact that we were a male couple coming in with a rental car contributes to a case of HOMOPHOBIA from the Mandeville location. read more

This was my first time going to NTB in Slidell and I am so glad that I did. I usually take my Buick Enclave to the dealership for my oil change, but because it was a Saturday, I couldn't go there. But the employees there were very knowledgeable and very friendly. The manager, Sherry was AWESOME. She knows all the ins and outs and even reminded the technician which oil filter to use. This store left the lugs nuts Loose on a wheel he was having replaced, My son said there investigating the situation. Update: The car was taken to another shop and the wheel was not balanced correctly which was causing the steering wheel to shake. I hope NTB does the right thing! read more

Great service, Miss Kim got me settled up with 4 new tires and a replacement sensor on my wheel. I previously had a poor experience 3yrs ago and didn't want to return, but after learning this location was under new management I desired to go back. I am very glad I did because the service was excellent and the people were very friendly. It was also one of the fastest times I was taken care of with a install like this. Incompetence galore! Do not go here. Here is the biggest issue I had with them... The center cap on the custom rims on my truck were tightened so much that two of them have broken off. The employees I spoke with took responsibility but when the manager got involved he decided that they would do nothing about it. The rims I have are discontinued so I've learned that there is a number on the back of the center caps that you can put in at Ebay and someday you may be able to find a replacement - but for now I'm out of luck. Also had to have 3 out of 4 new tires purchased from NTB re-balanced after leaving there shop! Do not go to any NTB - there are too many reputable tire businesses to risk it here read more

To bad this doesn't allow for a negative review. Since the previous manager left this store service has steadily gone down hill. On one occasion I was told I needed something repaired which had already been done at their facility. And every time I have visited since they continually come up with things that are needed to be worked on. My advice is stay away from this location! read more
