These guys absolutely saved me! While heading home from Raleigh, NC to North NJ, I get a blowout about 5 hours from home. Not wanting to drive 5 hours on a skimpy donut I start a frantic search around for a place who can get me a tire so I can actually go home. NTB was my first call and I am more than happy I did call them! I explained my story to a lovely woman on the phone and instantly she sounded highly concerned...she made sure I was OK, she offered to call road side, police or even an Ambulance if i wasn't. After going over some details of the vehicle she promptly created a work order and submitted it to the shop in Staunton. When I arrived at the shop I was greeted by Trevor, probably one of the nicest and most courteous human beings I've ever met. Trevor already had the work order in hand! He inspected my vehicle with me and we went through a few tire and pricing options and just made everything quick easy and painless. My Car was in the shop before I knew it and I was back on the road in less than an hour!!! My box truck broke down while I was on a short road trip. Water pump was shot, so I crawled to NTB. Their team was great. Got an appointment over internet, went to the appointment and was told that they were not going to be able to look at my car. Made another appointment the next day and was told that they could not give my car a yearly inspection even though I had told them what I needed the day before . I went to them after my steering wheel started shaking. They did not fix the problem, found other things to work on, then replaced my windshield wipers without asking me. When I went to pay for the services, I noticed that there were windshield wipers on my tab. I asked what that was, the one ringing me up didn't know I wasn't contacted. They took them off the bill after having to call another mechanic. Now, a few weeks later, I have to replace the wipers because they are absolutely horrible and find a new mechanic to actually fix the problem. I would not go back or recommend. read more

I should've learned my lesson the first time but this store's location and hours are really convenient for me so I decided to give them one more chance. Huge mistake! I had to have several different things taken care of at the same time and, as far as I can tell, the work was just fine. The price seemed fair as well. My issue is with the customer service team. I won't try to list everything here but the main things were: 1) The blatant incompetence of the guy who made my appointment and checked me out at the end. I got so frustrated watching him mess up over and over, I wanted to just do his job for him so I could leave! 2) He and his manager (I think?) were arguing back and forth the entire time I was there and it got seriously inappropriate. Slamming stuff around, insulting each other under their breath, etc. It was crazy unprofessional and super awkward for me and the other customer who was there then. And 3) That same guy (I think his name was Andy) also kept staring at me in a super creepy way. He skeeved me out so much that even if everything else had gone smoothly, I wouldn't go back there as long as he was still working there. Ew. read more

We had tire damage on I-81 while on a trip and had to be towed. AAA service center couldn't get replacement tires for over 24 hours. This NTB shop had tires on hand and got them installed in record time so we could continue our trip. All this with no appointment on a busy day for them. When we got back to Hwy speed the new tires were balanced perfectly! I highly recommend this shop! read more

I've got several cars for my family and put close to 50k miles per year on my work vehicle. That's a lot of tire rotations on my Tesla. The manager was very accommodating and actually purchased a set of special lifting pucks, so I could bring my Tesla in for all of those rotations. Thank you Our other cars require a lot more maintenance and these guys are always able to schedule me in when I need it. I was traveling 100 miles from home to pick up a relative from the hospital when I got a flat on I64 near Staunton VA. I found an NTB online and limped in with piece of metal in the the tire. The manager told me he had a couple of people ahead of me, and I didn't have a reservation, but since I was late to get the relative from the hospital, he would get me in soon. They pulled the car in and starting working on it pretty quickly. The tech, Joey, tried to fix the hole with a patch, but it was too damaged and was still leaking air. They then realized that since I have a factory wheel upgrade, they didn't have the right size tire in their store. The manager found it in Charlottesville, which is about 30 miles away. They already had a guy half way there to pick up something else, so they picked up a tire for me also. Since I had to pick up a relative at the hospital, Joey put my space saver spare on for me so I could go pick them up. About the time I got back, they had the tire and put it on quickly. The had me headed home quickly. I have used NTB in my home town and have been very satisfied. When I got a flat hours from home, I looked for an NTB and I am glad I found them. The manager, the tech Joey and the other employees I encountered were all professional, friendly and compassionate. No extra charges, just the tire and the mounting and balancing. Joey even refitted the spare back into it's holder. Like it never even happened. Getting a flat on a trip is not fun, but this NTB fixed it for me with the best service possible. Bravo!! read more

Any store/company that would leave a young woman stranded on the road because they were too busy "cleaning" their establishment doesn't deserve to be in business. Refusing to change a battery because it was 20 mins before closing is inexcusable. What if something happened to her because of their lack of help...who would be liable then? I came here because most places close at 5 p.m. and my rear brakes were sounding very bad. Not just squeaks, but grinding rumbling sounds, even being noticeable with the music on. I wanted it taken care of. I arrived just after 4 p.m. and they finished everything by 6:20 p.m. They were very professional and willing to help me. They pointed out a few ways I can save money as well through rebates and getting a discount by applying for a credit card. I was able to apply on the spot and now can pay the cost of this repair over 6 months with 0% APR. The price was more than I thought it would come out to in terms of a number I had in my head, but later when I looked online and saw average costs of replacing the brakes and rotors, it was well within that average. Later I looked online and the parts were very good parts, which I prefer over the cheaper parts. The waiting room was pretty big as well and plenty of nice comfortable chairs...not like the worn out chairs you see in other places. They had a decent sized flatscreen TV, magazines, coffee, bathroom, and drink vending machines. I also appreciated that they let me take pictures of my old part and new part as well because I like taking these kinds of pictures for my own records and for my diary! Thanks NTB! read more

Husband took his car to have the oil changed and tires rotated. They broke one of the hubcaps to the point it wouldn't go back on and busted the rim. When he called them out on it they really told him they don't put the tires on the ground when they rotate them. read more
