Try to get an appointment. Sign-in--to my account. Everything looks fine. It's me!! , then I try to schedule service...I get "please sign in to your account"....over and over again. No problem, Just call. "Everyone is busy" leave your number, we'll call you back.. NOT. I'll be buying a new car soon but as much as Like Toyota, I'm looking at other dealerships.

Driving north on I-81 in separate cars with my daughter early on an August Saturday evening her car…read more(a RAV4) suddenly lost all power over the course of less than five minutes and we ended up on the interstate shoulder as darkness fell. A bad situation all around, as we stood at at the guardrail for an hour. Had the car towed to McDonough's Toyota 40 miles north in Staunton. Filled out a service request, dropped it in the overnight box, and then drove a further two hours home to the DC area exhausted by the experience at the end of an 18-hour day. I didn't know what to expect from the McDonough service department, as I'm not a big fan of dealership service departments and not from Staunton. I ended up delighted, however. Stephanie was kind and helpful when she called me on Monday morning, the diagnosis and repair (new alternator and battery, unfortunately, which I'd assumed) was completed quickly, and we picked up the car on Tuesday. All the ladies we dealt with on the service desk were a pleasure to speak with, completely professional, and they returned my calls quickly after I left messages. The estimate was accurate and the cost reasonable for the work done. I hope I'm never in this position again; however, I'm glad we took to the car to McDonough. All's well that ends well.

At CMA's Valley Subaru in Staunton, VA, we not only found the Forester to have the optimal clearance and height and all-around accessibility, but also recognized this dealership took our needs to heart. Sales specialist Remy Duguet was well-versed in Subaru's reliability and safety record. Given his knowledge of each model's specs, he made it easier to decide which best met our needs, going out of his way time and again to ensure the Forester would work for us. He was responsible and followed up at every turn. We highly recommend Remy and believe he reflects the Subaru culture and values as does the dealership. This has been a very positive car purchase and trade-in experience.

CMA's Valley Subaru is the worst. Long story short I had to…read morehave my vehicle towed from my house to their location in Staunton because I had zero hydraulic fluid and my 2022 Outback obviously wouldn't allow me to drive it without causing catastrophic damage because of it built-in failsafes and protection system. It arrives at CMA's Valley Subaru and they look over it for about an hour then call me to recommend I need to have a $14,000 transmission replacement!? WTF?? The mechanic drove it after filling the hydraulic reservoir for 6 miles stating "harsh clunking in between gear changes and jerking". My other option told to me by their service team was to trade it in or sell it to them. They then tried to push the fear factor saying that they "don't know how long it'll last if I don't have a new transmission right now". I said there's no way I'm doing either of those recs and will pick it up immediately to see for myself how "bad" it was. After spending $500 for "diagnostics and hydraulic fluid" I got my car back and was anticipating the worst. Nothing. Normal. Immediately went on the interstate and pushed it after feeling comfortable about my suspicions that they only wanted me to trade in my perfectly running vehicle OR pretend to install a transmission, essentially stealing $14,000 from me. I can 100% say without a doubt that it's still running normally, like nothing happened and this is why I can also safely say that CMA's Valley Subaru are liars and people who will try to swindle you out of thousands of dollars that, in my situation, would be life altering. They prey on people who blindly take their advice and who think they won't see shit for themselves. Any issues you have in the valley with your Subaru, DO NOT go there. You will get scammed harder than the Prince of Phukastan wanting a ransom for your nonexistent nephew named Yuwilgit Phukd. DON'T DO IT.

My mother's relatively new Buick under extended warranty from GMC was towed here when it was having…read moreissues starting. The warranty company requires it go to a licensed GMC/Buick dealer and this is closer than towing to Roanoke so, this was the place. My mom didn't read any reviews (of which there are loads of bad ones and BBB complaints against this dealership/service department). My mother was assured this should be under warranty and within a day they told her it was a bad fuel injector after they ran tests/diagnostics. She was at my house visiting during this phone call and asked if they should replace the other two as well. Her service tech said no, warranty wouldn't cover it usually and only one was bad. So, done. Warranty agreed to pay for this. A few days later (after weekend) - she gets a call with "bad news" from them. They test drove it and it was still having issues... so they were going to tear it back down and ensure they didn't "do something wrong". No mention of costs, labor charges, etc. They call back and tell her a second fuel injector has now failed and would need to be replaced. They would contact warranty company. Ok. Now, the warranty company does agree not only to replace another injector, but also the third one too. Just in case. Counter to the initial information my mom was given. Seems they didn't ask the warranty company up front who very well may have agreed to replace them to save duplicate labor costs - which is exactly where we ended up. They also never gave her a quote for the cost before doing any of this, bc they planned to fleece the warranty company. So, my mom didn't get the luxury of saying, no before they had her car taken fully apart and told her she owed $1300 in labor. That came AFTER that had already happened. So the sequence was out of order here. Here is the main problem: their position is that this was a completely new issue and that this fuel injector failed ONLY when they tore it back down. Not that it was also bad when they initially only replaced the one the first time and billed her warranty for $1600 in labor. Sounds fishy to me considering when they tested it after the fix, it didn't work. So they did not in fact, fix the issue and they are in fact, at fault for missing it. The math ain't mathing. So, they planned to make labor fees off the warranty company for replacing a fuel injector - then charged my mom FOR THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN, saying this was a new issue and it wasn't bad when they first tested it. She never started the car, sat in it, or drove it after dropping it off there to be worked on. How can any reasonable person believe, that this second fuel injector just happened to go wrong at the exact moment the replaced the first one and was perfectly fine and my mom needs to pay them another $1600 in labor, not that they missed it? Additionally, wouldn't any reputable service department at least consider that and not charge her FULL price for something that is most likely their mistake? Yeah, not this place. They were rude and dismissive to her when she became upset over this. I called and had a more nuanced conversation with Ben where he admitted "probably" the fuel injector was already broken but since it didn't "throw a code" they didn't know for sure, but yes, it was likely but wasn't their fault. My mom spoke to the service manager, Cliff, who appeared dismissive on the phone and essentially told her unless she paid it she'd never get her car back and refused to do anything about reducing the labor charges. I have to say - I am extremely unimpressed and my mom, who doesn't make a ton of money, is really upset about these charges. They are saying this is a warranty issue and blaming the company - I see it more as them trying to bulk up their fees by double-charging for an issue they failed to find on the first go-round and should've eaten. No reasonable person would think they didn't miss this issue - at the very least they should've taken half the cost off and not charged my mother $1600 for labor and also the warranty company for replacing the exact same part (fuel injectors) on her car within days when she never even picked it up and drove it off the lot the first time. The warranty company denied a double-charge, just like medical insurance does when a doctor double-bills you. Shameful. I wouldn't bring a vehicle here if I had any other option on Earth. There is a real lack of integrity here and it's plainly obvious.

I had searched the Jeep website from my home near Augusta, Georgia and the online inventory system to find my perfect Rubicon. What I initially thought was very unfortunate is that there was nothing anywhere near my home that had just what I wanted. However CMA's Jeep had the perfect vehicle 434 miles away from home! I did a quick Google search for positive reviews at that dealership, and David's name came up often along with the name of Jesse Dorestil, the finance manager. So, I called David, and the rest is history as my wife and I made the long journey to claim our new vehicle. He was very pleasant both during our phone negotiations and his great personality particularly showed in person. We were gone almost 20 hours yesterday to complete the transaction. Although by far the farthest we have ever travelled to purchase a car and very exhausting, we feel it was certainly worthwhile because of the exceptional care we received from David and Jesse and the entire team!

I contacted the service department and they misinformed me, claimed it wasn't covered, and forced me to pay thousands out of pocket just to get my car back working. This is a direct violation of consumer protection laws and a breach of warranty. I have already contacted the General Manager to resolve this via email. If a full reimbursement is not issued immediately, my next steps are formal fraud complaints with the State Attorney General, the FTC, and legal action under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Do not trust this service department with your vehicle or your wallet. I had to pay out of pocket for something that sould have been taking care of under warranty. Also, Nissan customer affairs is NO HELP!!!!

I was referred by another mechanic that we found via Google Maps (who didn't have time that day to work on my car) to Staunton Motors. I am delighted that I was referred to them! Ramin (the owner) and Wess (the mechanic) were WONDERFUL! They took my car in right away, knowing that we needed to make it to North Carolina that evening. They diagnosed the problem as a radiator that had split on the side, showed me the damaged radiator, and replaced the radiator within about an hour as I waited. (I had just had a mechanic in Baltimore look for a slow cooling system leak two days before leaving on the trip, and he had not found the problem with the side of the radiator, although the leak had been there for some time according to Wess.) The labor and parts prices at Staunton Motors were both very reasonable. Ramin and Wess were wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend this shop based on my excellent experience there.

After paying $1200 for these services, the next time we tried to start the truck, the battery was dead. Turns out they never replaced the battery. We took it back and they did. Then a month later the oil light came on. We brought it to another mechanic who told us there was no oil in the truck, and the oil filter had not been replaced. They also never fixed the other minor issues we asked them to look at. When we went back to complain, they were very indignant, and only begrudgingly refunded part of our money. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs. They messed up our friends car when we went in for an oil change and inspection. They have terrible quality control.

I think he was the same guy who did it last time but I did not get a name. I got a report on all 4 tires, pressure when I got there and how much was needed. I had a really good experience at the Midlothian Discount Tire where I bought these Continentals, another well run Discount Tire. Efficient, helpful, good price on tires, easy. I really think the Waynesboro store is top level service, good people, quality work. I will definitely use them when I get the next tires. You cannot go wrong with the Waynesboro store, or the Midlothian store. Thanks guys at Waynesboro Discount Tire on 1/5/26! Even the guys working in the shop were enjoying the Monday morning and their jobs. Laughing, working, talking. Getting stuff done! Awesome.

This place is Horrid! ugh! I just move to this crappy area from Richmond, VA. the closest Honda dealer ship to me is this one, Valley Honda in Staunton, VA. 296 Lee Jackson Highway....the place is horrible!... absolute downgrade from the Honda dealer ship I used to go in Richmond, VA. At this Valley Honda in Staunton, they don't have free food like they do in Richmond, and the area where you wait for your car is not NEARLY as nice as the one in Richmond. In Richmond they have a big screen TV, here at Valley Honda, they have some crappy TV old as heck!...well, that's not my only complain, cause at the end of the day these things are not all that much important. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LOUSY! seems to me that they only have to Service people there, a male and a female, or at least only them two are there the few times I've been there. First time I went there, I saw a JUSTIN ROWLING...UGH!! Horrible customer service, and the idiot told me I had to go back to fix some recall in my car, he said he couldn't work on it that day cause there was not enough time. I didn't like the guy at all, like I said, he displayed poor customer service. Today, when I came back, for them to fix the supposedly other recall in my car, guess what, they tell me that recall is NOT for my car! SO I LOST MY GAS AND TIME GOING THERE FOR NOTHING!!!!....I told the lady, that the guy told me so!!!, and she told me no, that it was a mistake!.... this JUSTIN ROWLING guy was seating there at his desk while all this was going on, I don't know if he could hear us or not, but I just wanted to walk up to him and yell at him so bad! WTF kind of customer service is that !! are they going to pay me for the gas money i spent going there for nothing?!?!?! and the time the made me waste!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!...you are better off talking to the other only Service person there, the lady that spoke to me today, curly hair and glasses, cause this other JUSTIN guy royally sux!!! I was soooooooo upset!!! So yeah, bottom line this place sux!!!! I miss Richmond and the Honda Dealer ship there in West Broad Street. Josh and Aaron in the 'front of the house' were very helpful in getting my car in on a 'spur of the moment' situation even though the shop was busy. Their master mechanics were patient with me and attentive while we were trying to figure out all the new and mysterious noises that had recently started in the car and after they took the car back, came to me with possible fixes and the costs for each fix, prior to doing any work, giving me the chance to process the potential costs. After realizing that another mechanic from another 'mom and pop' shop installed the wrong equipment on the car (they even showed me the mistake before replacing it), they replaced the faulty equipment, rode with me again to see if the noises were gone and the car was smooth and silent once again. The cost was reasonable and they even applied a 10% off coupon to make my day brighter than expected. Josh, Aaron, Jack and Eric are always friendly, attentive, efficient and understanding - willing to deal with my sometimes overly anal anxieties about keeping my Honda Accord in great running condition. We recently purchased a 2014 CR-V from Valley Honda and the experience was as painless as buying a new car can possibly be. A friend recommended Valley to me so I asked for an online quote and we were given a very competitive price but the difference between our experience at Valley and our experience with other dealers in he past was what happened once we went over ot visit face to face. When we arrived for our appointment our salesman, Bryan Sites, was ready and prepared. We test drove two different trim levels and when we decided he had all the numbers quickly and accurately done. There was no pressure to buy and when we decided to buy, there was no pressure to buy any options or add ons we didn't want. We walked out with the best vehicle for us, not the best vehicle for them to sale. I would definitely buy from Valley again. read more

I found the dealership and car I wanted online and started an email conversation with Bryan Sites. He was responsive and answered all my questions. When I went to look at the car, I realized that I had missed the fact that it had a manual transmission and I was looking for an automatic. Even though I made it clear that I was still shopping for other makes and models, the dealership swapped with another store to get the "right" car at their own risk. After driving it, I knew it was the car for me. The negotiating process was calm and not as dramatic as some others I've experienced. We settled on what I think was a fair deal for everyone. I Recently had to have a service done on my Ridgeline. I simply could not be happier! Justin Rawlings in service went above and beyond to make sure I was aware of everything being done at all times. He also made sure I understood everything! The price was reasonable and the time frame to have the work done was shorter than expected! Justin even got a recall done for me that I was not even aware existed on my car... At no charge! There is a big misconception that factory service is too expensive... that is not true! Isaac Aguilar is a great salesman. He enabled me to easily locate a car for my daughter in Virginia, even though I am in California. He was very reasonable in negotiations. He found the car I wanted and transferred it to his dealership. He prepared ahead for her visit on 2014-01-04 to pick up the car, at which she spent only twenty minutes. Awesome customer service. The Sales Staff was super nice and greeting me when I walked in. The Service Manager was understanding, accomodating and super nice. They fixed the things that I had scheduled and took care of a recall I didn't even know I had. While I waited they offered me a ride to the mall. I was in and out in no time at all and the bill was much cheaper then any other Honda store I've been to. I bought my car here back in November. Everyone was helpful and professional and made sure I got a car that fit my needs. I told them where I wanted my payment to be and they worked with me to get it there. I also recently had my first oil change and tire rotation done here. The service department is great. Valley Honda is as good as it gets! They truly went out of their way to help me. They fixed my sunroof that was leaking in my brand new car that I'd just bought at Harrisonburg Honda, where I'd had a horrible experience and they just didn't want to deal with it. Valley Honda helped me more in one day than Harrisonburg Honda helped me in 4 months. Thank you to Valley Honda for caring enough to treat me right! Valley Honda is the best Honda dealer ive been to including several out of state. They have the BEST people, its not the biggest or most fancy dealer but the service makes up for it. In my opinion a Honda is a Honda regardless of dealership size or small things like having a 70+ inch TV and what not. I will return to this dealership from now on for my next vehicle purchase, service and parts for the little bit of work i do to my old Honda. read more

From start to finish this team was great! Craig was wonderful at answering all our questions and taking care of our needs for our new vehicle. Found this dealer via Truecar.com, best car buying experience EVER! Ken Seal had the car we were most interested in waiting for us when we arrived (2 hour drive), test drive, trade evaluation, negotiation, paperwork, and delivery all took about 3 hours!
