A few years ago my work hired them to go and give 15 minute chair massages; we could pay for more time, so I paid for 30 minutes more. The person that I got was eating ice from a styrofoam cup the whole time and just pushing on me with their open palm free hand. I was VERY disappointed. Since that was a while ago, I considered giving them a second chance. I made an appointment for my wife and I to get a 90 minute deep tissue couples massage. We had been on vacation and walked 8+ miles each day for the past four days so we needed some relief. My wife enjoyed her massage and said she felt refreshed afterwards, but she rarely gets massages. That is the only reason my review is not zero stars. For me, I kept waiting for the "deep" part to begin, but before I knew it, the massage was over. I felt no relief and my feet, legs, and shoulder are still in the same achy painful condition. Maybe I am expecting too much from a "deep tissue" massage. What made it sting worse was that it cost over $300 (with customary 20% tip) for someone to basically put lotion on me for an hour and a half. Needless to say, I will not be going back or giving them another opportunity. I have yet to find a good massage place in Amarillo. Awaken was a little bit better, but not by much. read more

I see Brittany for my full leg, full arm, under arm and brazilian waxing, as well as an Acne Facial. Brittany takes time with everyone & gets to know her clients. Her room is organized and everything she needs is within that room including a sink so she is time efficient. My boyfriend and I wanted to do the "Couples Retreat" it sounded like an amazing experience to do together as it incorporates an hour long message, lunch (they order their lunch from Abuelo's) with wine of your choice & an "indulge pedicure" (according to their website: a full service pedicure to rejuvenate your feet as they are exfoliated with sea salt, smothered in a spearmint foot masque and polished to perfection) This was the first time I did some sort of couples message and the two masseuse made everything feel comfortable, they asked for the type of pressure we both wanted. The oils they used absorbed into the skin not making us feel as if I have to hurry home to shower. The area that you get to have lunch is quiet and away from people traffic however I didn't feel comfortable (it's just me, my boyfriend was comfortable with it). You are able to pick your wine and able to have refills. The pedicure was AMAZING (they don't have many to select from but from the selection they have it is great) The entire retreat was an amazing experience I will be coming back for more. I'd been in the mood for a massage for a long time, and then while on vacation I got some news which exacerbated the problem. Got on Yelp and found this place. Called and they were very professional and the accents are just so cute. Texas accents at their best. They had availability the same day and said I would be seeing Sarah. Got there early to fill out the customary paperwork. It's very spacious, a theme I see a lot in the buildings around Texas. I met with Sarah and went over the areas I had marked that I needed some work on. The room itself was spacious, enough for her to move around the table easily. Her pressure was just right, and she would check in. I was very tense, because at the beginning I was feeling like the massage may drag on. Soon it was time for me to turn over. I didn't fall asleep but was in that semi-coma state. That's when you know you have a good massage therapist. It was very very relaxing and when I was dressed and walked out, Sarah had a full bottle of cold water waiting, (most places give you a cup) with instructions on how to take of your body for the rest of the day. The prices here are comparable to California, so most visitors from CA or NY won't bat an eye, but well worth the money. Also there were several guys getting a massage too. Very professional, everyone is so kind. The owner I have known 41/2 yrs. And has never done a bad job. In fact because I have very hard hair to color she says a little prayer over my hair color. I also have issues with my leg waxing, the wax does not like to come off. She has done research and found a better wax that work on me! I also have had the most incredible massages. Out of the hundred + massages I have had it ranks in the top 1%. Prices are very reasonable and have given gift certificates as gifts. All are now regular clients at Indulge. read more

My husband recently booked a massage for me as a surprise. We live an hour away and had something come up last minute which put us behind schedule. He called to apologize and let them know we would not be able to make it on time. He did not get an answer. It was 20 minutes till. They called an hour later and rudely told him. "18 minutes doesn't make a difference." I understand we were late for our appt, which was not intentional, but that is no way to talk to a paying customer. I had gotten a massage, facial & pedicure while I was here. The massage was with Sylvia, who was amazing! This was my first massage ever & she made me super comfortable & relaxed. She had very good techniques and was very knowledgeable about what she was doing. The reasons I had to give this spa a 2 Star was because of my facial & my pedicure. While I was getting a facial, the lady kept trying to persuade me to get rid of my peach fuzz. I'm comfortable with my body hair but she kept making it seem like such a negative thing to have, which ultimately made me feel bad about myself. As for the pedicure, it was probably the worst pedicure I ever received. The girl had very long fake nails which didn't seem sanitary at all. It took her way longer to do everything & the nail polish looked like it was put on by a 3 year old. Super disappointing. The only thing I enjoyed was the massage. Had a couples massage booked, showed up with my partner and was told there was no appt for us. Showed the receptionist the confirmation email and was told no one ever actually scheduled us. After profuse apologies we made another appt for two months later. We show up again today after clearing our schedules and am told.... Your massage therapist had an emergency so we have to cancel your massage and facial. These people clearly cannot get their scheduling and therapists together. The services were good, pedi could had been better. There was some oversight of time in between services, I was forgotten about between a massage and facial. In that time I heard many staff members in the hall complaining about the establishment and other staff members, that took place in the pedi room as well as the area next to facials. Elyse is awesome! I had a prenatal massage today and it was wonderful. I've had lots of massages over the years and this was definitely in the top 3. The environment was relaxing. The lotion she used was great- hydrating, non-scented and not oily. The massage itself was the perfect pressure- relaxing, but firm enough to be productive. Elyse seems very adaptive when it comes to conversation as well; I, personally, don't want to talk the entire time, but I don't want dead silence either. From my experience today, I think she'd make you comfortable no matter what you prefer. All in all, I'll be back and will definitely refer to Indulge and Elyse! read more

I will never, ever recommend this salon with anyone and would discourage anyone to come here. I had a very, very unpleasant experience. I came on time for my appointment and I had to wait about 30-40 minutes for the next service and nobody guided me on where to go next. I had Indulge packet for $270 that included massage for 90 minutes, hair, pedicure, and meal. I went home hungry because they cancelled last minute. The massage was only for an hour instead of 90 minutes. It was supposed to be just a day service but it was very, very disappointing. THey moved the facial for another day because that day when I came, they said there was an emergency which I understood that happens. When I came back, they asked me to come 30 minutes earlier which I did and waited for like an hour again until I asked what is going on. THey said, there's another emergency. I don't understand the kind of service they're giving; lack of coordination, poor communication, unfriendly staff, very long waits for busy people like most of us. The website looks good but not in reality. The owner, whom I called, was very cold and defensive as well. I went home very upset and they still owe me services. I don't know what to say anymore. I am lack of words to express how disappointing, displeasing and almost furious my experience was. My husband was very upset as well because this is his wedding gift for me. read more

It was relaxing but felt productive as well in loosening up my shoulder area. Be sure to pay attention to the add ons on their menu to ensure you get what you want out of your massage. I had eyelash extensions done for the first time, several months ago, paid $200 and had to take them off after less than a week. My eyelids felt pinched and and one was itchy. Each time she glued an eyelash, she puffed it with air. Every time I closed my eyes I could feel glue bumps. They looked nice and I just thought it was my skin being sensitive. I didn't make a big fuss, because I know it was a service and she spent 2 hours working hard. Fast forward: a friend of mine who lives in Dallas said it shouldn't have felt that way and I got talked into it again and paid only $80. And what a world of difference. I can brush through them, wash my face with ease. I can barely feel them. The lady who did them, only puffed air once, at the end. And said most likely the other tech applied way to much glue. It wasn't a problem with me! It was how the tech applied the lashes on. This was several months ago so maybe she's gotten better training. I'm giving one star for the tech because she was really sweet and nice and another star for the place, it was really clean and inviting. read more
