No I didn't get any surgery but came here for semaglutide to lose some weight and lower my blood sugar levels. Doctor told me it would take me about two months to lose 20 lb (which was my goal weight). With just 5 shots and in 5 weeks I lost the 20lbs. Well, I was happy first when I did my liposuction and tummy tuck but now after 6 months my belly is fatty and big again and it causes problems in several ways and affects my lifestyle. Also I had my breast lifting here too, I'm not perfectionist. I know it's not easy to make 2 breast same size and nipples right place exactly same level. I had a tummy tuck and lipo procedure with Dr Sumida. There were problems early on from the surgery ( my upper abdomen was very large and protruding) but he wouldn't acknowledge any complications existed. I had hard dense tissue in the abdomen and belly button area. Its been 1-1/2 years and I still have hard tissue. It feels like lumps in my stomach. I have been going to physical therapy to reduce the tissue hardness. Regret doing this surgery. read more

I went to Dr Sumida for a rhinoplasty consult and for anti aging questions yesterday. He actually ended up talking me out of never getting a rhinoplasty. I feel like he was so very honest and kind. I think he's a doctor you can trust. I asked him if I should get laser for anti-aging and he said I don't need to and to start using retinoid and that if I keep doing it now in 10 years I will look the same. He also gave me a toner to use with the retinoid which was really nice it smells good and is easy to apply because it's a spray. I really like how it smells and it's calming on the skin. He was by far the best doctor I've seen. I have gone to 4 consults on the rhinoplasty before and never felt right about it and he ended up talking me out of it altogether. I would like to start this review by telling all of you that~ "As an RN for 20 years, my career is completely centered around Dr's". I know who is outstanding, just as I know who is, well.... "not". After successfully achieving "major" weight loss this past year, it became painfully obvious that my body was in need of some "additional assistance". I consulted with Dr, after Dr, after Dr...I left each of these consultations either unhappy, frustrated, or just plain irritated. I didn't feel like they made any atempt to listen to me, my questions were barely acknowledged and the answers were very vague, and 2 Dr's spent most of my office visit...admiring themselves in the mirror. I had almost given up when one of my own patients told me about Dr Sumida. She had just had surgery w/ him...and she couldn't stop singing his praises. Although he is located over an hr away from me...I took a chance. From the moment that I walked into his office, I knew that this was it. I went to 4 different doctors for consultations, I ended up choosing Dr. Sumida and I'm so happy I did. I had my surgery about three weeks ago, for breast augmentation and I'm in love! I was super nervous about this major surgery and the recovery process but Dr. Sumida made everything so much easier. The first three days were terrible of course, but after that I resume my regular activities within a week after surgery. Three weeks in and I don't even feel any pain, they are recovering so well. And I was so surprised because I can't even see the scar, even though it's only been three weeks. The scar is paper thin and small and it's seriously incredible how unnoticeable it is! I highly recommend this place, the staff is amazing and after my consultation I was able to schedule my surgery and everything was done within one week. I am 39 year old mother of 4. After each kid I have struggled maintaining and losing weight. I did all the diets, exercise and personal training. If you value your time at zero... When I made my appt I asked how long you should refrain from exercise and other applicable care instructions. I was advised they would email the patient paperwork to complete. The day of my appt I realized I never received the email so I called the office to ask them to send it again. The office said to come in early to complete the paperwork instead. I arrived early, completed the paperwork and questioned the staff about the paperwork stating you should not exercise for 2-3 weeks after the laser procedure..which is not what I was told when I made the appt. They then said the weekend should be enough to recover and to confirm with the Dr. After waiting over 30 minutes in a gown I never met the Dr. Perhaps Dr. Sumida is great, I will never know. I wanted the procedure..still do. However, I could hear the Dr. in the next room still working with another patient and realized I did not have that kind of time to waste. I made the appt, arranged care for my child and respectfully showed up early to be left waiting with ice packs on my legs. I changed and left , with the front desk staff staring at me as I stated I would not wait any longer. They had nothing say and appeared to be used to the scenario. I went here based on experiences both my parents had, so I am sure the Dr. himself is competent. As for the staff and communication..don't even bother. No call, no real apology. Me not giving them business will not affect them, but it might catch up with them when there are 5 offices on the same block doing the same procedures. I will find an office that respects my time as I do theirs. read more

I went in for my consult today and he made time to see me at the last minute! I drove 4 hours to see him and he has already exceeded my expectations.
