I had a lower blepharoplasty with Dr. Zimmerman in July and am so glad I finally did it. For me, the real measure of success has been the confidence I've gained back. I went from avoiding photos, especially under bright lights, to not minding them at all. I no longer hesitate to go out in public. At 53, I still have natural lines and wrinkles, but I opted not to use fillers or other products. As with any procedure, I think it's important to have realistic expectations. Long overdue review for Dr. Z and his team. I came to Dr. Z after a few friends recommended him. I went to 4 other consults prior to meeting Dr. Z, and when I met him I ended up booking my surgery at the end of my consult because I knew he was the one. My first experience meeting and talking to Dr. Z was great. He took the time to give me a detailed explanation of my options and what he thought would work best for my body. I never felt rushed and his sense of humor made it easy to talk to him. I came to him after having a bad experience somewhere else, and I truly believe he did the best job possible with what he had to work with. I wanted the biggest possible implants (without looking ridiculous) I could get. He measured the height and width of my breasts and gave me exactly what I wanted. The day after I came home was Thanksgiving and I was feeling a lot of pain so we contacted the after hours phone number and Dr.Z called us back personally on Thanksgiving and told us what to do for the pain. I discourage you from going to this plastic surgeon. His bedside manner is poor. When he did my surgery, he made a decision during surgery without my permission that affected the appearance of my breast in a negative way. It was an aesthetic decision, not health-related. He got angry with me for confronting him about how wrong it was to make a decision like this without my consent. In my opinion, there is an ethical issue that speaks to Dr. Zimmerman's attitude about control and respect. read more

A few years ago I was recommended to Dr. Zimmerman by a good friend for hreast augmentation. My friend who had hers done with him as well came with me to the consultation. She had 800cc implants and we discussed something smaller for me like 650 cc. And agreed on that. I had to secure a loan to get them done which was double the amount of the implants with interest added. Dr. Zimmerman also reassured me if I wasn't happy with them he can redo them and all I would pay is the anesthesiologist fees. The day of the surgery went well except instead of putting the 650cc in he took it upon himself and put 450cc in. This is not what I paid for and we agreed on. Again, my friend was sitting right there. At the post op visit I asked him why he put smaller ones in he said "you would have looked too matronnly" basically calling me fat! I didnt ask his opinion what I would look like because im not a size 4 like his other clients. But if someone pays for a service and it's agreed upon you dont change it when they are under anesthesia and have no say! Ive went back to him to discuss how they look and instead of keeping his promise to fix them if I wasnt happy he tried to convince me they were " better than before " I feel ripped off and now having issues with them and scared to go back to him out of fear he will dismiss me again because im not a size 4 woman like his other clients. He made me feel I did not deserve the same service and treatment as them because of his comment about my weight. I wasnt over weight at all just not a size 4 stripper built woman. Now the implants sit EXTREMELY low and sometimes hard for me to breathe. I have to physically lift them up for relief. Im terrified to even contact him again. His office staff was amazing but he is not a good doctor if you dont fit his "ideal" candidate profile. read more

Oh-my-GOODNESS! This is not my first rodeo, this was by far the most professional cosmetic surgeon and anesthesiologist experience has hands down. They literally explained what I needed to know, answered all my questions then handled the rest! The cost was extremely affordable for top notch work by a gifted surgeon. Allow me to explain! I needed a breast lift desperately, I also needed a follow up pubic lift and lipo for that chubby pooter area. I got exactly what I wanted, and then some! Lipo in the arm pits and pubic area, as well as 2 inches of skin/tissue removed and The skin lifted to give me a youthful looking nether region. And due to having already large breasts (40H) I got a reduction, then lift and implant (360cc in each breast). A solid/full 40DD. It's like he knew what I wanted more than I knew what I wanted. I was in great hands! And the Anesthesiologist actually called me at home 2 days post op to tell me the ups and downs of my procedure, and her recommendations of I get surgery again for anesthesia the next time.
