I've had many consultations with doctors in Turkey and locally and what stood out to me was that Dr Mabourakh did not have a "signature nose". He does what's best for the patients anatomy since nose's are not a one size fits all. Every member of the team is very professional, warm, and competent. I had 6 moles and a cherry mark on my face. I am a kaiser patient, however because they were non cancerous, and not affecting my vision they were not covered. They have been growing and 3 of them were over 1/4 inch sticking out. I've wanted a rhinoplasty for years but never really felt ready to do it as a) I was just scared of the whole thing and b) finding a surgeon who did natural work was really difficult. I saw Dr's page and honestly the pics on the website of the results speak for themselves. On surgery day, everyone from the nurses to the anesthesiologist to Dr were amazing. Erin, the pre-op nurse, made me feel super comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. She also did a great job with the IV, which I was really anxious about (as this was my first time getting an IV and going under). Dr. Anderson, the anesthesiologist, called the day before and eased all my concern and went over what to expect. Very friendly guy, but that's really all I can say as I don't remember anything after he came in and administered the sedative (lol). I did a septo/rhino & I'm about a little over 2 months post-op - although I still have a long way to go for healing, I'm already really happy with the results. It looks almost identical to the 3D imaging. I obviously look different, but not super drastically which is exactly what I was hoping for. Recovery has also been really smooth.
