The upper floor has home decor, drapery, vinyls, faux fur, drapery rods, and drapery rings. The basement has all the notions and crafts (punch needle, crochet,  embroidery,  knitting,  quilting), zippers, thread, sewing needles, trims, sewing patterns, fleece. The staff are very helpful. There are escalators and one elevator. There is no free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. MacFab moved here from Queen West a short while back and fits right into the trendy (but certainly more quiet) Leslieville 'hood. This place can be very intimidating but I had an easy time with Becks helping me traverse the endless books of samples at a lower price range. Shear fabrics are typically cheaper than drapes, which can vary in cost from around $35-$90+ per yard (thankfully only 1-yard minimum per order for those which must be custom-ordered). Beautiful, high-quality fabrics! BUT they're very expensive once you do the math. You'll get quality for the price (UV protected, high-traffic stain protection, etc), but jeez it's a punch in the wallet for sure. I appreciated the excellent and attentive service, with no bullying or pressure to buy. I wound up "renting" a book to take home and see in my space - easy with just a credit slip copy made and returned once you bring back the book, at no cost. While some of these prices are comparabl(ish) to Designer Fabrics in Parkdale, I'd say their selection at MacFab is a bit more youthful and up-to-date. Can't wait to go nuts here once I'm a millionaire! Tip! They've also got a home store on the North side of the street just a few steps West. Haven't been in, but I believe its more finished pieces/home decor items as opposed to fabrics.

The fabrics are stunning! If you're looking for something authentic to decorate an Indian themed space, then look no further. They have an amazaing array of silk brocade panels in every colour and texture imaginable. Their selection of cushions, cushion covers, and window panels seems almost unending. You can purchase product off the shelves, however, they also offer custom upholstery services. One would expect that the stuff they are selling would induce some sort of sticker shock, but that was not the case, as their prices seem quite reasonable for Toronto (6 beaded/embroidered cusion covers for $25 - and they were beautiful). All in all, I would recommend this place if you're looking for something different or if you just want to browse. It's also a great place to bring someone who's visiting the city, as they're sure to pick up a little trinket to take home with them...this place is beautiful. i have been shopping here for the past several years and have spent a fair amount of money. the…read morestaff are very helpful, especially jenny. the problem i have is with judy. she is a Pollyanna rescuer. she gets involved with her customers on a very personal level. her husband is a man who has anorexia nervosa , ADHD and obsessive-compulsive disorder, how do i know this judy told me. her daughters also have severe psychiatric disorders and how do i know this because judy told me. she showers people with compliments and gets personally involved with her customers. i have waited a long time to write this review for fear of not being taken seriously. i feel jenny does not speak up for fear of reprisal. i fear jenny does not want to rock the boat or want to ignite bad blood. judy needs to keep her personal business out of the running of the store and stop airing her dirty laundry to her customers, i have not shopped at errieta in a long time and don't expect to in the future.
