The PT ( Believe her name was Henneman), and proceeds to call me a he after the receptionist told her I am a girl, I corrected her because in no way form or fashion do I look like a He or presented myself as one, however instead of an an apology she said and I quote " it's because of your hair". I am black and have long locs but in no way or fashion does it disguise my gender. Again no formal apology was issued.

Also a nice place to get opinions on products and practice swaddling babies, talk about different bottle options, support for breastfeeding, essentials to have in the house for when baby comes (for example a rectal thermometer was not on our radar as something to purchase). It's also nice to get to know them because they provide birth and postpartum doula services which can be really nice to have especially if you don't have family in the Omaha area. I did go back for a chiropractor appointment later and did not like that experience as much (I think chiropractic care just freaks me out in general with all the cracking and potential for injury). They do have tea and a nice waiting area for patients.

I liked my chiropractor but couldn't get over the frustration with billing so I worked with my insurance to find a different provider. I also stopped my weekly massages during COVID as it didn't seem the pandemic was a concern to most of the staff - the lobby was usually busy with no protocol and masks were: not on, not on properly, or not enforced. Their response to COVID and staff safety also seemed to cause a mass exodus of massage therapists in the late Spring of 2020. I prefer the Papillion location but would often go to Center St. for more availability. The experience didn't vary too much between location. I've slowly started back for massage now that I'm vaccinated. If the insurance billing improved, I'd start PT/Chiro again - but right now it's not worth the headache. On a more positive note: I enjoyed the yoga classes they offered at Papillion for a short while, too. Hope those eventually come back! And, finally, my favorite part of Essentials: Natalie! She's like my Norm in Cheers :) Natalie is knowledgeable, great with scheduling - she just makes visiting the office a better day! I seemed to have the fewest issues with insurance billing if she handled the appt check-in (some of the front desk staff seem to be HS/after school job, which is fine - but they don't seem as knowledgeable about the insurance process).

I battle the daily ins and outs of Ehlers Danlos, and with a recent scapular issue that would not…read morego away, I found myself working with Dr. Steskal and his Nurse Practitioner to see if there were any atypical or more non-conventional treatment options. They started me on peptides, and we have been doing adjustments and trigger point injections once a week. It is never perfect recovery as anyone with Ehlers Danlos knows, but I feel that they are always trying to think of other alternatives to try to get the persistent inflammation and muscle strain under control. I AM finding relief and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Every time I have been to his office there has been a good positive environment. Everyone is generally always smiling and greet you when you walk in. The office is relaxed type of atmosphere. If you have a problem with too much smiling or any music playing and enjoying your visit, then you may need counseling as well. My experience with Dr Chad has been nothing but great. I will keep going to him for the foreseeable future.

During my consultation I was told the standard order of business is 2 syringes in the cheeks. So they sold me 2 syringes. Gave a great discount if I paid cash. After a month my cheeks were lump, noticeable asymmetry and I looked as if I aged 20 year, I go back thinking it could be corrected and was sold another syringe cash for the discount. A month later I contact them because my face was distorted and you could see the filler under my skin. I requested for refund and f it to be corrected. Dr. Abbott insisted that because he trained the injector it was performed correctly. Offered me to purchase another syringe and dissolve the areas that had been over filled. I opted for the dissolve. Not only did the therapists assigned to me communicate very well with each other, but also with the surgeon. The therapy was extremely helpful, and was made much easier by the very personable staff.
