I spontaneously went to Hydravolve Studios because I was nearby, it had good reviews online and I wanted to check out styles, prices, etc. I met with Shannon who was just finishing up with a client & happened to be available the remainder of that evening. She went over everything with me and showed me the earrings. It was way too plain for me and the only downfall - they don't have a good variety to choose from in stock. If you wan't rhinestones/more bling or a specific style, etc., you'll need to order it with her, wait for it to come in and then go back to get your piercing. With the fact that I have been contemplating getting this piercing done for a long time, I knew I was ready to get it done right then and there..but also wanted something with bling. Lucky for me, Shannon was able to find an earring with a "little" bling and told me it was available since the person who ordered it, after a month or so, never came back. I decided to go for it and so glad I did. I did tell Shannon to not show me the needle she was going to use or anything because I'd probably run out of the room lol Shannon was very informative; told me everything she was doing, step by step. She was very clean, very nice and super gentle. It happened so quickly with one deep breath. After she was done, she went over in detail on clean/care instructions. I was so in love with the tattoo that I decided to make an appointment with him at the studio during my next visit to Atlantic City (the studio is in Deptford and I drove an hour to the studio because that's just how awesome David is). Upon entering the studio I was blown away by just how bright, inviting and massive the studio was! They do tattooing, piercing and also have a large retail section that sells awesome items (& they were having a Black Friday sale). I worked with David via email on the design (& also signed all my paperwork and submitted deposit electronically) which was super convenient and when I arrived at my scheduled time David was ready for me (which is also awesome because I've had appointments with other artists at other studios and they were never on time). David was awesome as usual and allowed breaks whenever I needed them and also finished within the number of hours discussed. I LOVED LOVED LOVED my new piece of art and my friend who was with me also love it (& the overall vibe of the studio that she is thinking of scheduling an appointment as well), Lastly, the artwork throughout the studio is sooooo dope and you can just tell that these people CARE and are GREAT PEOPLE because the energy is that real and flowing from everywhere. My friend and I were under 18 and our mothers had to come with us, and Immortal was so kind and accommodating. He walked us each through what was going to happen. Great! A few months ago my belly ring fell out (loose jewelry, not their fault) and the hole became too narrow for my belly rings. So, I went back for help. The guy at the front desk seemed bored with me, but gave me necessary information to see their new piercer, Lance. Lance was very kind and professional, and helped me stretch my piercing enough to allow for jewelry-- and he only charged me for the new ring! Would definitely recommend for piercings, but not so much for tattoos.
