Before Dr. Kim, I had experienced acupuncture , but never went back to the practitioners as I didn't have a great experience. Dr. Kim is a completely different story, he really seems to care about his patients and has worked really diligently to resolve the discomfort I've been experiencing. This man is magic! I went in with a CVS sized receipt of aches and pain and issues and he's tackled them one by one. I walked in today with incredible pain in my left hip and after an hour of acupuncture, cupping, electrotherapy and massage, I walked out skipping with joy. Dr. Kim takes the time to listen to all your issues and concerns and educates while working on you. He is professional and thorough and a master of acupuncture. I cannot recommend him enough. I've done acupuncture before but didn't feel any difference after a few visits. Now, I came to Dr. Kim and on the first visit, he worked on one of the areas that I came complaining of pain and after acupuncture, massage and cupping; I felt much better. Exceptional experience. I visited post rotator cuff surgery ongoing pain and stiffness to shoulders, neck, upper back. Dr. Woo incorporated stimulation of accupoints, cupping, which really absorbed my pain out of my neck and back, oriental massage with ancient Asian instruments, red light therapy, massage. The whole session was designed to detox my body of all the toxins that life in big cities infuses. At the end of the session, a Chinese traditional detox tea was served to complete and stamp the detox process. Had such a great first session, but honestly, I'm still in disbelief. The doctor checked my pulse and looked at my tongue in under two minutes and somehow pinpointed so many of the long-term issues I've struggled with--without me even mentioning them. He knew I've had problems with bowel movements, digestive issues, and heavier menstrual cycles. I was genuinely shook. Traditional doctors haven't been able to figure out exactly what's going on, which is why I finally decided to try acupuncture. Dr. Kim did an excellent job! I've been experiencing low back pain for the past couple years which culminated to an intense pain that's been occurring daily. I came across his information through my insurance and selected him because of the positive reviews and I was not disappointed. After the accupuncture, I felt immediate relief. He also included a massage and cupping which I've never experienced before. The cupping led him to ask questions about pain that I've disregarded in between my shoulder blades. I went to see Dr. Kim mainly because I have trouble breathing through my nose. I had my first treatment on Saturday, and I am very impressed with Dr. Kim's expertise and profound knowledge of his profession. He is very polite, respectful, and has great bedside manners. I tried acupuncture for the first time and I'm surprisingly already feeling such a difference! I initially came only for acupuncture, and Dr. Kim also suggested doing cupping (which it was my first time trying as well). I felt sooo relaxed after the treatment, and I'm already feeling less tension in my back and neck (which is what I came for).
