Small little spot that only had two nail techs and had to make an appointment. I normally do not make appointments for nails but went ahead and did so. I loved that she took her time and wasn't rushed to finish my mani pedi. I finally found my nail spot in Tucson! It's a small shop with three ladies working, so be sure to make an appointment. This shop has all my requirements: Great massage chair for the pedicure! Friendly people. Good color selection. Nice price. I am just so happy to finally find a place that I can go to treat myself. Only thing to note is that it's cash only. Excellent service and high quality work for a very decent price. I love acrylics and these ladies make sure I get the shape I want every time-- they don't rush me through because they want to get it right. I've definitely found my nail spot in Tucson. My boyfriend got a pedicure here too and he loved it-- his feet were pretty rough and the technician took her time and really put effort into his pedicure. Very small shop with only a few ladies working so calling ahead and making appointments is a must-- so far I haven't had any trouble with getting in when I needed to. My first time here. They are small but clean and friendly. The prices were reasonable. I got a mani-pedi and it was wonderful. The other customers here were repeat and clearly loved the services and friendly staff. The massage with the pedicure was outstanding--I find this is the part most often skimped on. If you go in with an appointment, knowing they accept cash or check only, you're going to have a positive experience with Jessica, Lee, and Alex at Number One Nails. I've been going to Number One for a little over three years now. I love these ladies, their professionalism, the casual and fun atmosphere, the prices, their service, all of it. But today, in particular, I was impressed by Lee's service which went far beyond painting my nails, an excellent foot massage, or an eyebrow wax. As I waited for my polish to dry, Lee took the opportunity to grab a snack before her next appointment arrived. When her appointment did come a few minutes later, Lee met her at the car and opened the back passenger door. I noticed she had pulled out a walker and was moving back over to the driver, an elderly woman. Lee helped her out of the car and to her walker, and together they walked inside the shop. I love watching moments like this and I truly appreciate the value these ladies place on both service AND relationships. They go above and beyond every time. Can't wait to go back! read more
