I am super impressed with the quality of work he does, he is fast, talented and goes the extra mile to make sure you love it (of course for extra) the customer service is great and I can make appointments 2-3 weeks everytime which I love. They are always busy here so I suggest making appointment. They are the best in town and all the staff are super talented. I also wanted to add after the last month (a fill every two weeks) none have broke off and that is the first time in my life that they have ever retained and stayed so well.. even the grow out with my nails growing fast I could wait 3 weeks if I wanted too. read more

The only reason I'm giving one star instead of zero is because zero stars is not an option. I went in for a gel manicure 1. The guy did not do a good job of removing the old gel. 2. He did not soak my cuticles before cutting them - painfully! 3. He opened a dirty box, took out an obviously used nail buffer, and proceeded to buff my nails with it. 4. He dipped a brush in a tin containing dirty acetone-soaked cotton to shape the white stripes. 5. The shape of the white stripes ended up asymmetrical. 6. He didn't apply any lotion. 7. The entire service from start to finish lasted 22 minutes! Without exaggeration, the salon is filthy! The furniture, the floors, the UV lamp, the decorations, even the little fans are caked with dust and dirt! Should I continue? I was too shocked and too embarrassed to stop the procedure and walk out. Although in retrospect that's exactly what I should have done. I just pray I don't get an infection from this experience. read more

Number One Nails did, and were able to schedule an appointment for two pedicures for my grandmother and myself on Black Friday. I made a same day appointment and arrived 2 minutes early but had to wait for over 15 minutes to get started. All I needed was a pink and white fill but because I did not specify I needed what this called a "double" fill, I was told they only allocated enough time for a "regular" fill. My nails were done in 20 minutes, so I'd say they work fast, and they looked good. However, my original acrylic could not be matched as they only have a couple of pink powder options. This was my first time going to this salon and I probably will not return. The salon was barely acceptably clean but the decor and feel was "old". It needs a serious update. In a pinch, this salon will do. The cost of my single fill was a bit above Cali average. I don't know how it compares to Havasu prices. read more

Don't waste your money. They have appointments available because people don't return. They are very nice and accommodating but my gel polish is peelimg off my nails after 6 days. They also file your nails too thin. When I went to scrub my hands they had one nail brush out for everyone to use at the sink and no disinfectant anywhere in sight to clean before the next customer. That is a state board violation. Nice yes...but for $30 for a fill...I will not be returning...ever. Buyer beware. read more

There is a reason why you can get an appt here when all other salons are booked. Carly, i believe is the redhead mentioned in other reviews is horrible. No mask. No hello. Just an angry pissed off person who has no business in service industry. Workstation dirty.. tools did not appear sanitized and she could care less about what customer wants. Starting right in with horrible rough filing and no lotion or oil pushing back cuticles. Ignored me and was rude when i requested oil. Only took 5 minutes for me to walk out. I've never done that before but after thousands of manicures and especially the bad feeling I got and no sanitary measures during COVID.. not worth it! The couple who i assume own salon appeared to be nice but that person is a serious detriment to their business. read more

I sat there for 2 and a half hours till somebody else helped me. Then he missed sections of my nails when he painted them. I had to go back today to get them fixed. $35 is NOT worth it. I am always beyond happy leaving this salon. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by Mike the owner. He is awesome at doing nails, super quick and does whatever you ask of him. I personally have been going to Carly Black for the past year and LOVE HER. She is amazing!!!! She takes her time on every little details. She is a perfectionist like I am so I never have to ask her to fix anything. She takes her time on shaping, painting and ALWAYS DOES MY CUTICLES! She has a positive attitude every time I come in and always makes me feel comfortable. She has gotten me out of my comfort zone on my nails and no nail tech has been able to do that. This place is absolutely horrendous. The gentleman who did my fill was very very rough. His filing of my nails was very aggressive, to the point his filing tool was burning my nails. I told him repeatedly he was hurting me. Four of my nail beds were bleeding. Four days after my appointment, my gel was completely discolored. Never again will I give them the chance to abuse me. Got a pedicure which started out great. It started to go down hill when the gel polish on my big toes didn't look good. She decided to just paint over them with clear polish to cover it up and she did this twice even though she knew it didn't look good. She didn't even try to remove the polish and redo the paint. Normally I don't have any complaints about this place but the new red headed girl has now completely ruined my nails, the way she applied the Acrylic made the top half of my nail quite larger than the other half of my nail no matter how much she filed off. But I hoped the gel polish would hide the mess but now I have huge uneven mounds of gel polish. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and both technicians were skilled at their profession. The spa chairs provided a great back massage, and neither of our pedicures & massages were rushed at all! My foot and calf massage was sooo nice! My husband said his was good, too. I was on a trip and came in for a fill and pedicure. The main reason I won't be back is the sanitation issue. The pedicure was not even close to sanitary and was not cleaned after use! There was tons of crud (probably dead skin and toe nails) all over in the bottom and stuff floating in the water. As for my manicure, the gel polish chipped the next day and the job was super sloppy. Within a few days I had cracks and chips in the gel polish (same as other reviews). The people we're nice but for $70 it was the crappiest mani/pedi ever. read more

I have my favorite place to go for nails. I enjoy the atmosphere and the fact each employee treat you so kindly. Now I also have my go to girl Carly- she goes above and beyond for my requests. Always double checks her work and makes sure I'm completely satisfied with my nails. I love the fact shes so considerate and works hard for attention to detail. Love her and the salon!
