I used to think I loved this place--despite how unbelievably EXPENSIVE it is. We're talking $150 for a basic mani/pedi, and that's BEFORE tip. And I'm not someone who skimps--I tip well and have been a loyal, consistent client. Then I had an emergency and couldn't make an appointment, so I did the responsible thing and called to cancel. The next time I tried to book, they attempted to charge me $172 for a "no-show" fee. $172?! For a nail salon? That's beyond excessive--it's ABSURD. Even most medical offices don't charge that much!!! To put it in perspective, I could get my nails, toes, brows done, and even a massage for less than what they charge here--and that's in California, with tip included!!! I've spent a lot of money here over time, far more than I probably should have, and this is how they treat a regular client? It's honestly insulting. If this is how they handle loyal customers, I can't imagine how they treat anyone else. Completely unreasonable, wildly overpriced, and a very disappointing experience. Spent a few days in town on a road trip and my nails needed help terribly! My husband Umd upon this place and we were able to get an appointment for myself my husband and my father and we couldn't say enough great things! Upon entering the studio, it was super clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated! Absolutely loved the colors and vibe; high end chairs and equipment. The staff was superb! Went for the first time and I wanted a specific thing I only wanted cheetah print! when I booked my appointment. I had a little bit of a wait, which I didn't mind but when he finally took me, he told me we didn't have enough time to do a design (even with my appointment) if I can choose just a color so I chose red at the end of it. I'm guessing that takes too much skill to do or time because the man that sits in the front that did my nails ended up CHOOSING MY NAIL COLOR!!! he chose a clear glitter to save himself time!! I got basic short white acrylic lay with glitter it wasn't what I wanted but I still paid and today was supposed to be my next appointment. I called this morning and the same man threatened me with an invoice that I would have to pay half right now for canceling. I'm not sure if anyone else has been told this, but I was absolutely shocked. Part of the reason why I was canceling was because I don't have the funds and for him to think that I'm gonna pay for half of a service that I already knew I wasn't going to be happy with is crazy. That's why I felt like I needed to leave this review. Hopefully you don't cancel before your appointment time with very good reason and hopefully they don't try to gouge you and take advantage. Tried this place for the first time and I'll never return. I have ingrown toe nails and they ruined my toes by incorrectly clipping the nail and making them worse instead of fixing them. He also argued with me when i told him how my toes have been CUT for the past 18 years. When painting my nails with GEL polish, instead of using a brush and a little acetone to clean up the over spill on the nail, he waited until the polish dried and filed my nails to the point of pain and bleeding. Extremely rude. I called to see about making an appointment for 6 mani pedis and the gentleman explained that they only do 3 at a time and we would need to do a credit card deposit. I said that was no problem and asked if they had availability Monday to do 3 and 3 back to back. He said again that I had to do a credit card deposit, I said that was fine and asked about availability and he again said you have to do credit card deposit and we will charge you if you don't show up. What a find this was! Yelp delivered when I saw the reviews for this great nail shop in Havasu! I called last minute and they worked around my short notice and even offered to come in earlier the next morning! Tri started my pedicure with a perfect temperature foot soak and gave me the best all around pedicure that I have had in a long time!! I then got a gel manicure which was equally as nice. Shop was clean, prices and conversation great and location was easy to find!
