I contacted Nunes Locksmith because the thumb latch on my door handle prevented us from opening our door. I spoke with James who informed me of the parts that were needed to replace the defective handle, as well as where I needed to purchase the parts, and he instructed me to call him when the task was complete so that he could replace the lock and handle. I called James two days later to schedule an appointment, and too my surprise he was able to come to my home an hour later. James was very professional, had a great personality and worked diligently to get the job done. While he was installing the new locks and handle, James took the time to explain what he was doing, showed me how to operate my new keyless lock, and programmed my existing key to work with the new system. Not only was the price for service reasonable, but James called that evening to make sure my husband's key worked properly with the new system. A BIT OF A LATE POST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT FORGOTTEN!! JAMES NUNES IS THE MOST HONEST, FRIENDLY, KIND PERSON! NOT TO MENTION HIS PRICES ARE UNBEATABLE!!! He came to my rescue (single mother of an infant and 9 year old) in 10 MINUTES FLAT! I am beyond satisfied with not only his promptness, but also his honesty and superior customer service and kindness. A few weeks ago I had lost my chipped key and called 'Auto locksmith Tracy', a 24 hour mobile service. Upon my call, they came to the place my car was in an 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was quoted over the phone a $29.95 service charge, plus the cost of the key. The man informed me that I needed two keys, one to open the door, and one to start my car. My total was $180.00 and he would only accept cash, and received NO RECEIPT. I paid him and we went our separate ways. I then tried to start my car and I could not get it to start, so I called the company again and the same man returned. Apparently I found my original key, and did not realize he had connecting his tablet computer for re-chipping and informed me that that was my original key and it would need to be reprogrammed. He had the program open so I asked how much it would cost to re-program my key and he told me $90, which I thought was extremely high so I told him I would like to contact someone else to find a more affordable price to fit my budget. I called several places and they all seemed to run back to the same key company that is located in the West Valley Mall. They were all extremely rude. Mr. Nunes even tried contacting them to speak with a manager to all why they would charge me for an unnecessary key and they had the audacity to HANG UP ON HIM! I refer Mr. Nunes to EVERYONE who needs ANY kind of locksmith needs. His prices are more than reasonable qnd he himself is a very kind man. Thank you for not taking advantage of my desperation to use my vehicle like the jerks from the mall did! You're an amazing person and deserve all the business in this ENTIRE AREA! I needed all 6 of my homes locks rekeyed and he did them all for $120. He was fast, professional and thorough and even gave me 3 sets of keys at no extra charge. Let me start out by saying if I could leave six stars I would. At 11:15 p.m. on a rainy night I locked my car keys in my car. Now as someone who has never done this before I automatically panicked and immediately started searching for locksmiths. From what I had heard in the past from friends and family locking your car keys in your vehicle is one of the most costly and time-consuming things one can do. Did I mention I also live in a small town? So basically my mind was already made up that this was going to be an expensive and near impossible project.
