They barely spoke, just made vague hand gestures while avoiding eye contact completely. When they did say something, it was mumbled so quietly you couldn't even understand them. Right from the entrance, the whole atmosphere felt off, but since it was my birthday and I'm newly single, my girlfriends and I decided to give it a chance and try to have a good night anyway. Inside, the place felt dead for a Saturday night. We went to the dance floor, and the only person dancing was an elderly woman who looked close to 80. The energy was nonexistent. The one bright spot of the night was the female bartender near the dance floor -- she was genuinely friendly and gave us the only positive interaction we had there. After that, we walked to the other side of the bar hoping maybe the vibe would improve, but it only got worse. There were barely any people there, almost all men, and the atmosphere became even more uncomfortable. The music was terrible, the crowd felt awkward, and the whole place had this strange, unfriendly energy that made us want to leave as quickly as possible. We finished our drinks and got out of there. Walking past those same creepy bouncers on the way out honestly felt like a relief. It's sad to see a place I used to love turn into somewhere that now feels so unwelcoming and uneasy.

This is great for a date because it doesn't allow more than roundabout 50+ people, so it won't get too loud. If you WANT something loud you can go right downstairs to the bars/restaurants there (which we did). The bartender was great, made good drinks (I got an old fashioned) and we all had a great conversation. Plus she let us try the mulled wine she was testing out (gonna use the recipe for my Christmas party ). I'm not a huge fan of Pueblo but this place is a must visit. 5 stars I'll take photos when I visit again :)

I'm just a tough on ratings. I had a couple beers, wife iced tea. For my wife the main menu didn't have anything she wanted... they let her get a grilled cheese off the kids menu. They had a Reuben on the menu, but I wasn't in the mood for the sauerkraut and the 1000 island dressing. They had no problem making it basically a corn beef and Swiss sandwich. All the food was good. The service is great. The people are friendly definitely recommended. Next time we're in trouble we'll probably go there again, and you should too.

I usually head straight to the bar for a pint. Malissa and the rest of the crew are always friendly and helpful. Service is consistently great every time I visit. They usually have about 5-6 house beers on tap and a few rotating Colorado guest beers. Personally, I'm here for the Walters brews--I don't really bother with the others (no disrespect). If you're in town and want a laid-back, welcoming place with solid beer and good people, this spot should be on your list.
