As we left, we heard an employee shouting, using absolutely foul language, which was totally unacceptable. We'll find a different hotel next time.

They have a mini fridge and microwave in your room and you have cable tv. What makes me give three stars is when housekeeping clean our room the bed sheets and comforter where the same they didn't changed them out and I knew this because our comforter had a cigarette burn. The good thing I had bought cheap bedding sheets and covers and pillows and I would put them on top of the bed. Then when I would leave I would unfold the bedding like we used it. I would love to give five stars but this incident I was not to happy about. It's a good place to stay but recommend buying cheap sheets to use. This super 8 is 2 minutes away from the rock group. Right outside of the hotel there's an Arby's,Burger King, Jimmy Johns. Across the street is Taco Bell, McDonald's, subway.

My husband and I have been here for three days now due to a flood in our basement which knocked out our furnace and hot water heater. The Magnuson (First) Heritage Inn has been a Godsend!!!!! They have a very nice bathroom with a tub just made for soaking in. The bathtub does have two VERY STURDY METAL GRAB BARS with a shower chair that is, big enough for a grizzly bear. The bathroom also has tons of cabinet space with drawers to keep things!!!! We are staying in the handicapped room, they are on the ends right next to a large handicapped parking space and an easy accessible ramp that pretty much leads right into the room. The beds are quite comfortable and the room is too. The heating, cooling system is quiet. And puts out the heat. It is January. The controls for the heater, air conditioner are very easy to read with big buttons to push. The tv is very good too with the cable channels you pretty much expect. The people that work at the Magnuson First Heritage Inn are AMAZING!!!! Extremely nice and they didn't make me feel stupid when I had to have them come to my room to help me program the microwave. Okay it was blinking and the buttons wouldn't work. The gentleman hit a button and Voila!! it worked. I asked what he did. He told me, it was the clear button,which was clearly labeled. He was a total gentleman. My husband and I will definitely come back to the Magnuson First Heritage Inn.

They initially gave me a room with no bed (likely the living room area for a suite) and they immediately fixed the problem. Once I got into my room, it was relaxing and wonderful. The king rooms have a walk in shower and the twin queen bed rooms have a bathtub/shower combo. I mention this as those traveling with kids might prefer the tub option. Every room has a mini fridge. Traveling with little ones here is nice because they can offer a microwave in your room if requested. Made a big difference for us traveling with a young one. The gym is small but they do have a peloton bike among other equipment like free weights and other cardio equipment. Complimentary breakfast has warm savory options like egg burritos both with and without meat. They also offer oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and bagels with plenty of refreshments. Parking is free and easy to find. There's also a complimentary shuttle to take you to places on campus if you have no car. There are also bikes at the hotel to get around. I was there during a snow storm & they did a good job of plowing the lot. Hot coffee available throughout the day which is nice since i work overnights. My big issue is that the room temp has a cap at 75 degrees and it shuts off frequently even when the auto is not on. We haven't even hit negative temps in the area yet so I'm curious how the heating is through the winter. There was also hair on 1 of the towns when I entered the room.
