This was my first time playing bingo so I really didn't know what to expect. I believe 6:50PM is…read morethe early bird special. Regular games start at 7:30PM. You go in, get your bingo package (lowest was $18 to get a stack of bingo games + a computer), get your computer off the rack, then sit down. There are multiple clerks wearing aprons that can help you out. Be prepared to know what "small round robin" and "postage stamp" means. It's actually really easy to google and the computer screen will light up the pattern you're going for. During some of the games, the clerks go around to offer more games for more money. Kim, one of the clerks, was so kind to me and made sure I was on track. She answered any questions I had and it made the whole experience more comfortable as I had gone alone! The bingo itself was super fun!!! I would love to come back with friends. At first, I was intimidated due to how fast the games were going during the early bird special. But, the pace is much better for the regular games (not including the quickie games). However, I do think this place needs to be cleaned. Oddly enough, the bathrooms reeked of nair?? Like it smelled like strong chemicals and wasn't the cleanest. Tip: ask for the program and bring drinks/snacks. Expect to be there from 7:30-11PM. Also, bring cash!!

Rating Pulaski Bingo a 5. Nope, I have no comparison since this was my first time going to bingo…read more I'll tell you what though - phenomenal. You park and walk in. Games are already going (early bird started at 7pm, and I have no idea what was being played) Peppe hadn't just arrived either. They were seriously settled in. You go to the window and are handed the standard cards. Then, you pick the package. No idea what the packages are, but I walked away with a ton of cards and a dauber. Then, you'll grab a small computer. Let's make it more intense and add a machine that auto plays for you. Ask for the program. You'll see each game has a slot and will be able to follow the sequence easier. There's an option to buy food (if you arrive early enough) People pack coolers. Pack a cooler - it takes so much focus to play, snacks are important. There's a few breaks. That's good because there's no room for error. Don't miss a number. Games move fast. Big money is tied to the last game. Smaller games are sold all night and have large prizes. One attendee must know which cards are hot because he kept winning. Amazing. Loved it.

I chose this facility for rehab after my ankle injury. I will say the place is really clean and…read morestaff seems nice although they were understaffed, those that were in were efficient and patient with my needs. I will say that this place needs to have a better system in place when admitting patients. I arrived around 3:30ish and was placed on my room with a bunch of people coming in/out - the head nurse showed up made sure my call bell was there and disappeared! Next time I saw the Nurse it was that evening and was told something totally different(wasn't his fault as my dr hadn't sent one of my meds with me to the facility) however, two broken ankles but no Physical Therapist to do an assessment until the next day? Wow! That mean patient isn't given a commode, wheelchair, crutches nor walker until someone sees them. I was given a bedpan the size for a child(I weigh 225) and basically told to figure it out! Big No no! Then the mattresses was so thin and uncomfortable if it wasn't for me not able to walk, I would've left the facility. I asked for an egg crate topper and was told they don't have them, so I did the next best thing-ordered one from Target up the street for delivery! One of the nurses was adamant I couldn't have it and administration was called! Clearly this wasn't a fight they weren't going to win! For the amount of money my wonderful insurance was paying, the good, the bed and the interactions should've been different. At one point, there was staff in the hallway discussing patients(me) and it wasn't a positive statement. At that point I'm feeling what are you saying about the other patients that are older and have no one to speak up for them? And yes, I mentioned all of this to administration when they arrived at my room in the morning. It's so much more I could say about the facility but what I will say is that please research before you place your loved one in any facility. Check for admission procedures, ratio of staff to patients, food service(they had nothing I could not wanted to eat there -I wouldn't serve that to my enemy) , cheap yogurt(c&c) never heard of them and I'm sure they're getting top dollar for each of those patients held there. Research, Research, Research!!!!!!
