These promises were a large reason why we chose this venue so to have them taken away from us with no explanation after we had paid our deposit and half of the full payment was very disappointing. If you are considering getting married here I would recommend getting everything in writing. We also had a negative experience with the venue workers on the day of who were not hospitable and rushed out the mother of the bride while she was graciously cleaning up the wedding parties bags. Bags which had been removed from the cottage by the workers right before the ceremony despite being told we could use that space all day.
