Cute little shop. My nail tech was cool. She carried on a running conversation with me. But before we started, she told me she didn't have time to do acrylics on me. I went to this salon a few months go. So after a few tries at some other salons in town I finally got what I wanted! I called looking for prices and availability and they were able to squeeze me in. I arrived a little early like they asked me to and as soon as I walked in the door Megan was waiting for me. I told her what I wanted and she was excited to get going! After a wonderful shampoo and some chit chat in the chair she provided me with the haircut I have wanted for a few years now. Thank you so much! as a visitor to Ft. Bragg, I decided to treat myself to a pedicure. I called around, and the 3 places I found were all booked-up for 2 days...... ( it is graduation / prom week) but I did find an opening at Nutone Day Spa, so I took it. My mistake was not asking the price right at the booking. Silly me, I figured it would be close to all the other pedi's I've had....$20-25. WRONG ~ the charge was $40. Now it wouldn't have been all bad if I had received a great Pedicure..... but I did not. The girl got polish all over my cuticles, and on the skin along the sides of my nails. I had to re shape my nails, and then remove the polish from the skin. Not very professional, at all...... so I wonder how others feel like this place is fabulous, and very reasonable? read more

I am so disappointed with the gel manicure I just got. I had been going to My Beautiful Nails, but they do a pretty average job, so I thought I would try Nutone, which is the only other place in town for nails as far as I know. For $35 (including the $10 fee to have the old nails soaked off), the manicure was so sloppy, I walked out of there sort of stunned at how awful it was. The girl who did them was nice, and I couldn't bring myself to complain. But she didn't do anything with my cuticles, so the gel was all over them, which I know means they won't last very long (as soon as they start to grow, they'll peel from the bottom). There are big globs at the edges and she missed spots, which makes it look like my nails are oddly shaped. They're just really bad. Probably the worst manicure I've ever had. Such a shame. read more

I love Nutone. I have now been a client for over 3 years. I get my nails and toes done every three weeks and have never been happier. Jesieka does the best job on my nails of anyone I have ever tried. Megan P. ( they have 2 Megan's) does my cut and color and I am always happy with the results ! She does great toes too ! Jade does my facials and brows and I always get compliments on my skin :) she did 6 weekly microdern treatments and the results were fabulous ! I couldn't be happier with a salon ! read more

Worst Pedicure I've ever had! The girl filed off the skin on the tip of my big toe. It seemed like she hated doing pedicures. Kinda like she didn't want to touch my feet. If you don't like feet, working in a nail salon doing pedicures probably isn't a good fit. Not only the worse, but for the most basic pedicure I've ever had it was also the most expensive $50. Maybe they are good for locals, but definitely not the place to go if your here visiting. read more

Dina Rogers at Nutone is no one to leave your skin in her hands. My sister in law goes in for a facial, Dina cut Milias out of my sister in law and when my sister in law left the shop she looked like she had been in a prize fight! I took one look at her face and we went back to get her money back and Dina had to go out to her car to get her license! Which was not posted in her place of business. California law everyone! Watch out for Dina, and keep her away from your face. read more
