They package their popcorn in bags and then place them inside a box

From another friend's recommendation after I keep buying garette's I finally got to try this. Maybe it's bc it's at the airport kiosk location where traffic flow isn't as high? When I finally tried the popcorn after a 10 hour flight it tasted not as fresh and a tad stale. But the flavors were still great! Will go and try the union station store next time!

My family recently got this on our layover. I'm not the biggest fan of mix but this stuff was great. It was a super convenient snack for our trip. The caramel popcorn was our favorite as it was super sweet with a thick layer. It paired well with the cheese corn, which was superrrr cheesy. The cheese was a little thick which wasn't my favorited but it evened out with the sweetness of the carmel corn. Overall the service and ambiance was great and they helped us pick out which flavors to choose from.

You know, I don't remember seeing any nuts?? Killer every type of popcorn, some popped on the premises.... Plus, kettle corn, caramel corn, chedder corn....... PERFECT FOOD to take on a plane and not piss off any fellow travelers... Nice people working there. Trying for the old newsstand vibe. This is.

It's always a must to stop here when I'm in Chicago! I highly recommend the caramel cashew popcorn--sweet, nutty, and packed with flavor. To round it out, grab some dark chocolate covered cashews too. You really can't go wrong with either. A classic Chicago treat that never disappoints!

A decent Popcorn place at the Chicago O'Hare Airport. Pricey, as expected, but taste wise, was alright. Kind of hard, but had good caramel flavoring, for the one bag I bought for $6.00 for a 5oz. Small portion, but I suppose that's good enough for a place inside the airport. Received a pleasant service during my purchase experience.

    "Small bag" PARTIALLY FILLED!

I stopped by the H terminal in Chicago to get a small bag of popcorn. I didn't know they had EXTRA SMALL BAGS! The lady at the counter served my coworkers small bags and they were filled. Then when I got my popcorn she filled it HALF of the small size bag! Why would I not get the same amount? I will never shop there again and I will tell all my friends who work at the airport and those who travel all the time about this to make sure they check their bags as the woman shoved my tiny bag into a box!

Location Between terminal E/F Service Terrific! Very thorough. Selection So many kinds of popcorn-fresh! Oreo, almond/pecan glazed, butter, cheese, hot cheese, also a variety of nuts and candy. Tip= Chicago style is butter and cheese mixed. Summary This is a must every time we land in Chicago! Just gotta have some! My husband had it for the first time-"this is the best popcorn!"

Cute little shop located in the Chicago airport terminal 3. We didn't have time to run to Garrets famous popcorn so we stopped in to Nuts on Clark. The sales gal was very helpful. I tried a sample of that delicious Carmel corn. I bought a couple bags and she packed everything up nicely. The flavor and the freshness of the popcorns were so memorable. I'm now tempted to start mail ordering my Carmel corn.

While nuts on Clark as seen as a staple of a trip to Chicago I could not help but be disappointed by the quaintly. I guess that comes with a purchase of anything at the airport. The popcorn hit the spot as I was starving but it had the stale quality you get with popcorn from a tin a Christmas time or from the boy scouts.

    Yeah Sweet Home Chicago!!

This time, I was actually spending several days in Chicago, so it was only natural for my friend and me to swing by the first Garrett Popcorn Shop we found near our hotel to buy gifts for people at home. We stopped by the 173 N Michigan Avenue location, and there was no line at first (though there was when we were leaving). We saw a whole bunch of options from the Chicago-style Garrett Mix (caramel and cheddar) to Caramel Crisp, Cheese Corn, Almond Caramel Crisp, and Pecan Caramel Crisp. We decided it only made sense to get the Chicago-style Garrett Mix for everyone. The service was quick, and the employee helping us was helpful and walked us through the best deals to get the most items. We ended up getting $5 off (due to how much we ordered) plus got an additional discount due to the number we ordered, too. We chose tins for the ease of packing and travel, which is considered a part of the "Build Your Bundle" promotion. The hours at this location are generally 10 AM to 7 PM though that is subject to change. Like at many other stores, there were also options for Frango Chocolate mixed in or using the app or website for Skip the Line & Order Ahead options. They also provide for meetings and events. If you sign up on their website for their newsletter, you can earn $10 in savings. Since 1949, they have been creating special experiences for customers. As they state on their website, they are "more than just popcorn!" To me, it's a taste of Chicago!

However,…read morealmost all places and bakeries you walk into have, at smallest, a cookie the size of one's face. I'm looking to satisfy my sweet tooth, not have a full meal in dessert form! Windy City Sweets fits the bill perfectly! They have a very wide selection of all sorts of sweet goodies! Homemade chocolates and candies, commercially made candies, ice cream, jelly beans by weight (buttered popcorn is peak, and you can't change my mind). There are likely many others, but I found what my heart was craving and went for it. Looking at their selection, there is something for everyone, even stuffed animals! (Eating these is not recommended, HA!) I suppose a candy shop has *some* appeal to the young and young at heart, so why not? I also love that they have reasonable prices, are open late-ish (until 9pm), and have friendly, welcoming service.
