Best owners and best popcorn ever.... Sorry they are online only and there store which is literally 2 blocks from me is closed

I placed an order 2 days ago and received a huge box today. once I opened and separated the two orders i felt a little overwhelmed with the amount of items enclosed. this will be my go to for holiday boxes , I received an amazing assortment of snacks for my household and my daughters household. I gifted a lemon cookie to my granddaughter and it smelled so good while she was consuming it, she explained the lemon flavor was all throughout and had a nose full of powder sugar, our 17 year old loved the red velvet cookie she even asked to take the turtle cookie to her bestir at school tomorrow.,. I was really impressed with the packaging and it included ice packs. I also received a nice size bag of the cheddar and Carmel popcorn which I already put up for my self. everything was individually wrapped with labels on them. don't yall sleep on these young ladies they are very impressive. i could not decided which item I wanted to try first so I chose the photo below. worth every penny. read more

Absolutely in love with this little shop and all of their sweet treats. Plus the owner and staff are always so nice and warm and welcoming when I come in to get my usual bag of popcorn and sometimes gelato for the week. This is such a nice little treasure to have on Chicago Avenue in the heart of Austin. I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu. I definitely would recommend this place. read more

The popcorn is amazing! We had the Sweet Cheese flavor. (Light Carmel covered cheese popcorn).Delicious!! Almost like Chicago style but better. We also had the gelato. I think between the group I went with we had a scoop of each. Strawberry cheese cake, cookies and cream, banana pudding, watermelon, mango, butter pecan and a few others. You can go wrong. It was so good 5 of us didn't even think to take a picture. Simply amazing.! You can't beat the price for the amount of gelato you get. My friends just moved in next door and Sweet Treats is just another reason to go to visit them more often. The owner was really friendly and welcoming. Great personality! read more

WOW is an understatement!!!! I have never heard of this company prior to my employer receiving a few taste testers as a gift. They have delicious sweets, so many varieties of gelato, baked goods, popcorn, and there is always something new and delicious to try. Great popcorn and the handmade turtles are absolutely a must! Parking can be tricky but worth the effort. Very cute sweet boutique located in the Austin neighborhood. I was immediately welcomed when I walked through the door and both ladies guided me through a tour of the product catalog. I chose the weekly special: salt and vinegar popcorn, the homemade turtle along with a 6 oz cup of banana pudding Gelato. I also munched on a bag of sweet cheese and cheese mix popcorn. Worth a trip. Delicious gelato with great flavors. Prices are really good the small is big and the large is huge. We had banana pudding , pecan, Oreo and coconut gelato. The banana pudding gelato might be my favorite on this here planet. The rest were delicious too but man that one is perfect. Now for the popcorn. Last trip I had Sweet Cheese, think Chicago mix but already set. Super dangerous since we ate the whole bag in one sitting fun and delicious to eat.Today I went in for the Chicago Fire since I was thinking about it all week. It was suggested with the salt&vinegar so I had it mixed. I am currently enjoying it lots and definitely recommend it. They are super friendly and make you wanna come back. They are only opened Friday and Saturday so make sure you take sometime to swing by. read more

This by far will be my go to shop for gelato especially the banana pudding flavor it's amazing, and popcorn is fresh. The owner is super friendly and professional and so are the workers, I had and over all great experience. I'd definitely recommend everyone to give this place a try. When I walked in, I felt like a kid in a candy store. It's bright, updated, clean and exciting to look at. A woman served me my gelato and my popcorn. She was professional, sanitary, nice and informative. Apparently, they are going to open a cafe across the street soon. The gelato and the popcorn are so good, I went back the next day for the same thing. I love this place. I just hope, when they start to expand, they don't lose their quality like all stores tend to do. I also hope that they keep hiring friendly people. read more

I just discovered this cute little gem in the Austin area. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I purchased a Groupon for gelato and we were able to get any flavors we liked that would fit in our cup. It was GREAT . They also have a restaurant across the street with the option to have events upstairs. Which by the way is very very nice. The decor and the restrooms for the event area was beautiful. Very good contract work. I love supporting black owned businesses and was excited to learn they were one of them. Will definitely return for the scrumptious gelato and popcorn. I heard it's the . Everything that I have tried from here is extremely fresh and so good. The red spicy popcorn is the best I've ever had. I also love the mix and the sweet cheese. The coconut gelato is very good as well. I cannot wait to try the blueberry crumble, the peach cobbler, and the banana pudding. This place should be open every day with multiple locations. read more

The store is cute, service is great, owner is very accommodating. I understand their take on their treats - they are home-made and they clearly take their time making them and take pride in the result. I'm not saying the popcorn is not good, just that I don't like it. To me it is hard to chew and the abundant caramel and other flavorings are excessive and detract from the enjoyment. I don't want to exert effort chewing my popcorn, no matter how lavish the topping. The gelato is very good, though the flavors are not that evident - sort of all taste the same. I prefer the non dairy selections, those were all well done. The cookies, however, are not that good. Nothing special about the cookies at all, though made in the shop they are neither crunchy nor "soft" - they just don't have the cookies down yet. Regardless of which version we bought, they all tasted like they were cut from the same cookie tube from Sam's Club. Just my opinion - others will surely disagree. Caramel apples are fine. Better to share or for a couple of kids. Mine get by fine on one apple, as they are very large and the toppings are plentiful. So as they pick through the toppings there is enough of them so that when we get home and cut the apple there are still toppings to eat with the apple. That all said, good and bad, we still stop by a few times per month. read more

For overpriced selections, I expected the staff members to be courteous or at least have a knowledge of the products. Not so. I was told about this place by a coworker, who later, after I shared my experiences with him, told me he had stopped going because of the insolent service he, too, received. The final straw was when I drove from Naperville to this shop to find they were closed. I saw on their website that day (Monday) that they were to close at 5pm, so you can imagine my frustration when I arrived at 4:30pm and found they were not open for business. It's not like I live down the street, so this was a huge and avoidable inconvenience. read more
