I am on time every month and still have to deal with this, each month. Today, after their threatening call, they hung up on me as I started explaining the situation. When I called back to discuss, and explain that I didn't appreciate being threatened each month they mocked me. They said they would report me to the credit bureau to be pursued by legal action, and stated it was not a threat but just information. I have never in my life had to deal with such carelessness for people from a financial institution. For reference, I have an 800+ credit score, am always on time with payments, and have never come across such a callous experience. I will be looking for a new creditor and would highly advise anyone not to pursue this institution until they're able to significantly shift how they treat their clientele.

I was so fortunate to have worked with the CU's Senior VP (Lisa) and Senior Financial Service Rep ( Sandra) who always provided my spouse and I with the utmost professional, kind and compassionate customer service. When we moved my parents into memory care / assisted living last month were faced with so many dead ends / unknowns within the banking world as those who have been through what we have can certainly understand and appreciate. Lisa and Sandra were and to this day, always responsive to our cries for help - always offering a solution, even when situations were not always directly related to banking - they were beyond a doubt customer focused and professional. I will be cancelling my membership soon. 6/19 Please beware if you are considering this credit union for a mortgage. I applied primarily because of the highly advertised low rates. I was pre-approved by other lenders, but my application was ultimately denied during underwriting. The reason provided was that I did not have prior mortgage experience with a loan of similar size and terms. This rationale was difficult to understand, especially given that many middle-class professionals in the Bay Area may be purchasing a home at this price point for the first time. Requiring borrowers to have previously held a similar mortgage seems like a standard that many otherwise qualified applicants would be unable to meet. What was even more disappointing was the lack of transparency and customer service after the decision. When I called for clarification, the loan officer simply stated that the institution is "very conservative" in its lending decisions and offered little additional explanation. I don't think conservative here is financially conservative but more than that. Pls avoid.

The employees are rude and condescending and could use some serious training in customer service. Specifically Gisele, and Fernando. All of them need instruction on how to be nice to people. I made several attempts to speak to someone in regards to fraud, holds on a payroll check, and the atm was not updating. I was hung up on by Gisele who told me rudely she already answered my questions and that the branch was closing and she didn't have time. Fernando couldn't explain any reason why a payroll check was being held and I'd have to wait 2 days if I wanted some money. He also said if I didn't want it held to walk in with the check or get direct deposit it's not his problem. The last two times I went in I wanted a printout, they treated me like a criminal for asking questions about my PERSONAL account history. Trying to take 26 years of history somewhere else so I can stop getting treated like shit has been exhausting. So my checking is now closed and now to get the rest out. She told me to get a notarized Letter and report to credit bureaus. I have to prove who I am but the person who made this account online doesn't. Horrible business practice and customer service at Chase. I will note that I was the only person in the bank. Ive wasted hours of my time on what Chase allows.
