Several other companies were strongly pitching massive scopes of work (for example, full replacement of siding on one side of the house). The job was made more complicated by the solar panels installed on the patio roof, and Ted and his team were able to efficiently and safely work around them (protect the panels with foam and avoid having to remove the panels and re-install, resulting in significant savings for me). This was a very positive experience, I found Ted to be highly professional and a great communicator. Work included removing the old siding and old picture window, and then installing the new siding and a new window. The job was done quickly and professionally. They showed care for my lawn and garden, cleaned up and disposed of all materials, and were respectful of the inside of my house when they came in to adjust the final fit of the new picture window. They were skilled and honest, which is a terrific combination in my mind. One example of their honesty was the billing. We were told at the beginning that there might be complications in the job, and so we were told that the bill was somewhat padded to cover the possible "extras". But when the "extras" were not needed, the final bill was lowered without my asking. Again, they were both skilled and honest, so I strongly recommend Sherwood Siding and Construction!

Lifetime recognized the problem was theirs and without hesitation advised they would reorder and as quickly as possible, rectify the problem. We love the work they did. They charged a fair rate and did the work in a timely manner. We will likely hire Performance again for future work. Communication: Ryan was easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and presented us with clear options and recommendations when needed. He even answered my questions that were unrelated to the projects we had going on. Quality of work: We were fortunate to have Ryan doing most of our work. He took his time and made sure every detail was addressed properly, from making seamless transitions on the fence to making custom moulding for our door. Scope and Cost: There were no surprises. Ryan kept us updated on the timeline at all stages and discussed how any changes to the original plan would impact cost. Jeremy the gentleman that gave us the estimate was responding promptly at first but now is mia. The crew that sided our house stepped up and used our AC unit as a ladder and dented it. We just purchased it a year ago. They say they are going to pay for the repair but waiting for confirmation of that. They want too much of the money up front which seems to make them lose interest. 90% before the job is done. This star value could change if things look up. Update: Job was finished and work was done well. Continue with having the company credit us on the final bill for the air conditioner repair we already paid for. We have the pictures of their worker standing on the unit and the dent it cause. The salesman that does the estimates are very professional and make you feel like the company knows what they're doing. But not an actual representation of the workers and billing department. I will change the rating to a 3 because the work was good.

But this experience was far from professional. There were so many issues, it would be too long of a review to list them all but I'll list some of the terrible highlights. *Poor management/supervision *Terrible process and attention to detail *Prep work was shoddy *Workers left the job site dirty each day and ruined a piece of our brand new carpet *No regard for the fact that we were living and working from the space (the job took 7 days, unnecessarily). *Skill level of workers was mediocre at best *Communication and language deficits *Several times each day we had to do quality control due to dripping paint, missed spots, wrong sheen of paint, using the incorrect color in places---we only had 3 colors. *Misuse of caulk in a large area that needed to be repaired by a professional drywaller. *We paid almost 11k for the work and it wasn't even worth half of that with the quality we got. They gave us a 1.5% discount for "inconveniences"
