I hired them to replace some siding…read more No communication at all. I had no idea when they were going show up. They would say morning and 4 hours later show up. After the work finally was completed there were issues. Part was a lack of communication, part my fault for not being 100% clear, part theirs. But then found that they damaged my new gutters with the ladder and roof that was only 5 weeks old. Now having to fight to get all repaired. My Roof and Gutters are new so under warranty and can only be repaired by the installed companies to keep the warranty intact. Which is very fare and reasonable. DK Exteriors insist they can "Fix it". But this would be at there discretion and their way. Not covered by the warranty. This company is terrible, Low quality work, Poor communication left a mess that i had to clean up and still not one apology for anything. They don't accept responsibility for their work. IF this gets resolved soon, i'll update all reviews.

Ted fixed it promptly, for a very reasonable price, and without trying to upsell. Several other companies were strongly pitching massive scopes of work (for example, full replacement of siding on one side of the house). The job was made more complicated by the solar panels installed on the patio roof, and Ted and his team were able to efficiently and safely work around them (protect the panels with foam and avoid having to remove the panels and re-install, resulting in significant savings for me). This was a very positive experience, I found Ted to be highly professional and a great communicator. If I need roofing or siding repair or replacement needs in the future I will certainly reach out to Peak Exterior! Highly recommended.

Work included removing the old siding and old picture window, and then installing the new siding and a new window. The job was done quickly and professionally. They showed care for my lawn and garden, cleaned up and disposed of all materials, and were respectful of the inside of my house when they came in to adjust the final fit of the new picture window. They were skilled and honest, which is a terrific combination in my mind. One example of their honesty was the billing. We were told at the beginning that there might be complications in the job, and so we were told that the bill was somewhat padded to cover the possible "extras". But when the "extras" were not needed, the final bill was lowered without my asking. Again, they were both skilled and honest, so I strongly recommend Sherwood Siding and Construction!

We love the work they did. They charged a fair rate and did the work in a timely manner. We will likely hire Performance again for future work. Communication: Ryan was easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and presented us with clear options and recommendations when needed. He even answered my questions that were unrelated to the projects we had going on. Quality of work: We were fortunate to have Ryan doing most of our work. He took his time and made sure every detail was addressed properly, from making seamless transitions on the fence to making custom moulding for our door. Scope and Cost: There were no surprises. Ryan kept us updated on the timeline at all stages and discussed how any changes to the original plan would impact cost. They want too much of the money up front which seems to make them lose interest. 90% before the job is done. This star value could change if things look up. Update: Job was finished and work was done well. Continue with having the company credit us on the final bill for the air conditioner repair we already paid for. We have the pictures of their worker standing on the unit and the dent it cause. The salesman that does the estimates are very professional and make you feel like the company knows what they're doing. But not an actual representation of the workers and billing department. I will change the rating to a 3 because the work was good.

There were some highs and lows in my experience with KVN, but with several months behind me to give…read moreme perspective, I believe I can write a review that will be helpful and fair. First are the things I did wrong: 1. I didn't get any other bids so I spent the entire project wondering if I was paying too much. 2. I didn't understand KVN is a contractor only - the trucks that come out to do the work are going to have different company names on them. That information is clearly stated in the contract but, related to #1, I didn't read the contract closely and missed it. So I spent most of the project wondering how much more I was paying to have someone act as a go-between with these other companies. 3. Because of #1 and #2, throughout the weeks it took to remove old siding, put up new siding, put up the gutters, and paint the house I was always on edge and quick to anger when something went wrong. Notable missteps by KVN: 1. There was some miscommunication about a small part of the house that they considered porch and I considered house. When we realized this, first day, I could see their position and asked how much it would cost to add that part. I had three different people tell me they'd get back to me with a cost - they never did. 2. Whoever they used for gutters had to take them down and install new ones twice - it was the third install that finally worked. KVN didn't catch the first errors (but maybe they would have if we hadn't checked first) but they did tell them to redo the 2nd install before we were even told it was done. 3. The painter painted the windows shut. We didn't know that until after everything was signed and paid, so we just fixed it ourselves. But the contractor is responsible for the work of the subs - so I'll call this their mistake. What KVN did right was they seemed to genuinely want me to be a happy customer. I didn't realize how much that mattered until a neighbor was having some work done and I saw first-hand the difference between having a contractor who is hoping to leave the customer happy (KVN) vs. one who just wants to get paid (the neighbor's). Made me think I was ready to write a review, I hope it was fair.

Unfortunately I was unable to cancel the order before it shipped out but I will definitely be pursuing a chargeback and further investigation. They tried it with another website but luckily I was able to cancel that one before they shipped it out. It has to be somehow tied to this company because I'm not sure why the stuff they ordered would be shipped to this address.
