Pipes, electricity, and plumbing, these three components were so important to deal with and you need LICENSED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE EXPERTS, for an old kitchen like mine. When I signed the contract I left it up to the experts and it was in excellent hands. 1. The team was always on time and even though I was not used to giving my keys out, I learned it was customary so they could come and go with ease. 2. For me this was a BIG expenditure, but after doing a reasonable amount of research MRTA Design was fair and extended themselves on some of the project. 3. Communication was good for all. Although there were things shipped later than liked, MRTA was ready for everything. Martin worked well with Keita Turner the designer of the kitchen. 4. The team worked clean, efficient, professional, attention to detail, and they all were eager for the result to be an extraordinary kitchen for me. Also they cleaned the hallway making sure to not annoy neighbors and even though I had a remolding permission, they kept to the time and even ending each work day earlier than expected. 5. These were not just workers, the team was made up of craftsmen who were professional in cabinetry fabrication (wood and lacquered 2 radiator covers), painter (scraped and evened out an uneven wall). 6. I found JNH Construction by accident while looking for something else on Yelp. The reviews were…read morevery good so I called them. Hasan and I made an appointment for a few days later. He listened as I explained what I wanted. He described in explicit detail what could be done to remedy the situation concerning the brownstoning of the stoop and cementing beneath the stoop. At his point I had already had several price quotes and description from other vendors. Hasan's description and price was by far the best. We set a start date for 3 weeks later. Hassan's contract was in detail as was discussed. His payment plan was even better: 10% at the signing of the contract, 40% at the start of the project, 40% midway through the project, and 10% upon completion. Unbeknownst to him, this made the project even more affordable because it would take a few weeks to be completed. Additionally, he gave a timetable/estimate of how many days the work would take (depending on the weather) as well how the work would be divided into sections. Hasan came with his workers on the very first day and outlined what was to be done. He would come on a daily basis unannounced (I think) to inspect and examine completed work. His level of professionalism, skills set, and competence is unmatched by any other contractor that I have come in contact with. Hassan's workers have an excellent work ethic. They report to work in promptly and begin to work immediately. They are prepared to work complete with the appropriate materials and tools. As you watch them work one can see they are well versed in their profession. They work proficiently, diligently, skillfully, neatly, and quietly. They were very accommodating and followed requested specifications exactly. Each day they left the area they worked on spotless. I would hire them again and I strongly recommend JNH Construction Co.

For both projects, his workers showed up reliably and cleaned up when the jobs were finished. The exterior paint job was neatly done with minimal spillage. During the shower installation, a couple serious structural mistake were discovered and the workers had to fix the mistakes and pour the cement floor a second time. However, the final results were excellent and the shower looks fantastic.

K&C Home Restoration Inc. was hired in March 2016 to do a complete renovation of my home, which…read moreincluded the entire first floor, exterior and basement. The project started in April and took about seven months. The house was built in 1955, and was never renovated, except for the kitchen, which was remodeled in the early 1970's. Chris and Kojack transformed my house from old and outdated to beautiful, sleek and modern. The house was done in a Mid Century Modern design. The kitchen and bathroom were completely gutted and rebuilt. Stone walls were added to the living room, dining room and stairway to the basement. A brick wall and a coffered ceiling were built in the den, and walnut porcelain flooring was added throughout the entire first floor. All of the windows were replaced through out the house, as was the electrical and some of the plumbing. New steps, railings, brick walls and gates were added outside. New central air conditioning was added throughout the first and seconds floors. All of the sub-contractors K&C hired were efficient, and very professional. The kitchen is all white with lacquer cabinets, white quartz counters and a white glass backsplash. They removed a wall between the kitchen and dining room to give it an open concept. They squared off all of the rounded arches to give them a modern look. The bathroom is also all white, with floor to ceiling beveled subway tiles and a walk in shower with a rain head shower and six jets. I was in contact with K&C daily. They kept me informed of the progress each day. Their communication is excellent. I made quite a few changes along the way. They were very accommodating to all of my requests. They have always been a pleasure to work with. They put in hard work and long hours, often working late and on weekends to get this project completed. I added the basement renovation towards the end of the first project. This was another job which had to be done from floor to ceiling. I gave them a short time line to get this completed, as I wanted it finished before the holidays. They were able to completely meet this request without any issues or delays. After these projects were completed, I decided to do a partial renovation of the second floor, which is a rental unit. The kitchen and bathroom were partially renovated. Baseboards and moldings were replaced throughout the apartment. The entire apartment was painted, as was the hallway leading to the second floor. The kitchen and bathroom are original, but now look brand new. They are professional, courteous and skilled in their profession. They are very neat, and clean up each day before leaving. Their prices are very reasonable. They are outstanding in finding solutions to things I needed done, some of which were a bit obscure. I would highly recommend K&C Home Restoration for any contracting and construction jobs. They exceeded every one of my expectations. I will be using them again to do some additional work outside, once the weather warms up.
