There was so much to do that I didn't need to hire a face painter, a musician or anything else to make this party absolutely stellar. The kids ranging from 1 to 7 years old had a great time. The staff were friendly and engaging of the kids while on the mats. Off the mats, I supplied the pizza, drinks, cake, etc which worked out okay. My complaint was that I had reserved the place with 50 kids in mind which usually requires extra staff and I felt like the amount of staff they had to help when off the mats was not enough...they weren't great about handing out pizza and cake/cupcakes and helping the kids find a seat...they didn't even have enough seats set up for all of the kids that I had reserved for...so, that is why I'm not giving them a perfect score...if they were better with helping the food end of things which is part of their party responsibilities, I would have given a perfect rating. I would book a party here again...it was perfect for this age group and definitely perfect for older kids...well worth the price charged for NYC prices...but book early as they fill every party slot months in advance.

They make sure the birthday child feels special. Allowing them to win musical mats, laying on top of the blow-up castle and swinging twice. That, I understand but this was too much. I had a friend waiting at the door in the freezing cold waiting to get in and texting me. To get into the rest of the particulars is not worth the agitation. Suffice it to say, have your son or daughters Birthday party somewhere else. I will add, we had a great Birthday party for my son there last year. He goes to school in the neighborhood which made it convenient for me and the other parents. With all of the great places to choose in NYC I would say avoid NYC Elite at all costs. It is not worth the experience or the inconsistency.

They did such a great job with Covid-19 protocols, in fact maybe the best where they kept the virus out of their gym. Managed by a husband and wife team, this place really takes a child's potential into consideration…read morein terms of group placement, competitions, etc. the insistence on a uniform helps promote the "team" mentality and build pride in the accomplishments, great or small. Parents are welcome to watch along during practice, but not to interfere during class/training. The space is remarkable. A little treasure in the heart of Glendale. The experience of several children in our group (now college-bound) gave them a great start and led them to become athletes and productive, well-disciplined young people. I was so happy to see that Coach Cory has opened his own gym! I initially became aware of his…read moreamazing skills when I took an adult gymnastics class at Chelsea Piers. I used to be a gymnast many many moons ago and wanted to see if I could still do some tricks, but on very bouncy surfaces. Cory was so kind and patient with me and he really left a lasting impression, so we kept in touch. When my friend told me her son was interested in gymnastics, of course Cory immediately came to mind! We ended up stopping by this past weekend and I was so happy to see what Cory has accomplished. Lots of equipment especially for children, combined with his signature helpful, kind demeanor and fun yet safe approach was such a great experience for my friend and her son.
