Down to 1 star! After we initially agreed that he will take care of my taxes for the year 2020, he basically ghosted on me back in April after I tried to inquiry about tax pre-payments. Tried to email and call several times to get updates but no answer whatsoever. Two years ago I tried starting a business and James was one of the first people I consulted. He walked me through the process of what to file to get my business off the ground. He continued to work with me whenever I had questions about certain types of expenses, and would proactively remind me of upcoming deadlines. He was an invaluable resource to me. I have submitted evidence to show that this man tried to threaten me when I was not happy with his job services . I had to comply and pay because he threatened to turn me in with a collection agency and at the time I was trying to buy an apartment. I also attached a conversation showing he filed sales tax late thus causing a penalty of $155. Bad service altogether. I was bullied to pay and I won't stand for it. I had to redo all the books from A to Z and discard $ 2690 of his work, he was charging $30 per hour to do the Quickbooks. A waste of my hard earned money. Also important tax documents sent to his address came back unopened causing penalties and also I had to pay more to get the tax return amended due to this mistake. I just want the consumer not to fall in the trap . I paid dearly. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I left this reviews years later because I stumbled onto a file with his invoices and email exchanged in my computer. I left the review on my free will once I recalled these memories from the past. I first wanted to accept the refund for these services , but they I decided it is not worth it so that I cannot be accused of extortion. He can enjoy this money for his bad services. I do not rely on it to survive. read more
