called ahead and informed a lady of what kind of flowers I wanted. She was very helpful and nice and polite. She told me I could come in the store or order something over the phone. I told her I was coming in. I came in the store and immediately did not feel welcomed nor was I greeted immediately. Apparently not the woman I spoke on the phone with. I told this woman what I wanted and she said come back in an hour. Had I known that I would've never came to the shop. I was told over the phone that they would work with me and help me create a beautiful bouquet. After asking for the woman I spoke with who was busy. The lady frustratingly asked "do you wanna just add flowers to this vase of flowers?" Which tells me she was trying to rush me out of there. I did not appreciate the gesture. They were not accommodating and was not the most polite experience I had entering a flower shop. read more

I went locally because I haven't had very good experiences with the regional stores, which will remain nameless.... Firstly, for the price, I was BLOWN away by the quality. ALWAYS - Love this place. The gals are always friendly. Fair price and make wonderful arrangements. I have lived in California for over 22 years and for as long as I can remember I have called every year 2 times a year - Mother's Day and for my Mom's birthday. Needless to say, I call each time to have them deliver. My Mom says she has always appreciated how they communicate with her for delivery, etc. So, my recommendation is to call Nyrie's FIRST before anywhere else! Disappointed with recent Mother's Day bouquet. Paid for a premium bouquet 15" wide with pink roses, pink miniature carnations and button mums. (Nothing exotic). Received a narrow bouquet of white daisies and 6 small pink roses. And the leaves were left on the stems submerged in water (which makes the flowers wilt faster from bacteria in the water, and the ends of the stems looked like they were torn off rather than cut with a knife. Doesn't seem like a professional florist prepared the bouquet. Crossing this florist off my list. read more
