Normally, when I'm going in to a new salon, I lower my expectations of the results because I know that it isn't usually possible to get exactly what you see in a photo. My hair is a level 2 (which is very dark) and it takes time to lift, so my expectations are usually not met. This time, however, I didn't lower my expectations at all, and Monica highly exceeded them. Monica had to first use a color remover to get all of the unwanted color out of my hair, and then proceeded to lighten it. She took her time and was friendly the whole way through. She even forewent having a real lunch to get it done. The salon space is extremely clean and neat. The products that she and Claudia use smell good and are of great quality! I cannot rave enough about the color and cut I received. I would recommend her to anyone. Instead, she did the exact opposite and completely washed out my $320 worth of highlights. She kept apologizing but never offered to fix it or even discuss restoring my highlights.
