That's fine, but the way she responded was rude and made me feel bad for asking. I also had been told the touch-up was free (the website says this too), but they tried to charge me an extra few hundred. It only got corrected after I spoke up twice (they doubled down on the price the first two times I asked , which felt sneaky). The experience was so bad I won't be going back there.

Spa is on the ground floor in an open hallway on makai side of elevator area. Press button to be admitted. Little sitting area to wait for your technician after they pleasantly check you in. I come here to see Hideko for my eyebrows. My friend had recommended her after I admired her work, and she didn't disappoint. The previous person I used at another place retired so I was happy to find Hideko who took her time asking me questions on what I wanted, liked, didn't like, and offered good suggestions to make some changes. Relaxing to lay down and she has clean, pleasant smelling hands- don't laugh- some people do not- and has a very gentle touch so I'm never nervous. The anesthesia is applied and takes about 20 min to kick in. Hideko then explains what she's going to do- and she does this every time- no matter how many times I've been back for touch ups. I love that. The procedure took about 45 minutes for me. Loved the way it turned out and she then explained what would happen to my brows and not to worry, it was normal. She gives a little packet with pictures of what brows will look like over the next couple weeks along with some bacitracin to apply each day to prevent infections. The touch ups may be scheduled for the following year and they are very good about sending reminders for the annual. I believe the touch ups about $200 but it may have increased due to the way things are nowadays. I'm seeing her next week so can update this review. Mahalo Hideko and Salon Island Beauty!
