Had an annual trip to Vegas and let me tell you that this place did not disappoint. We were going off previous reviews and it was all good. My wife had the steak and eggs and i had the fish n chips. Man, it was delicious. The owners were very chill and nice. Even the customers who seemed like regulars were talking to me like they knew me for years. Hung out while i was waiting for my food. Had a beer and played some blackjack. Won 30 bucks! So, all in all it was a great experience. I will make this my stop every time. I'm in Vegas. read more

Service from Bunny! The main reason for this review! She hustled from table to table with a smile! This is your typical dive bar that caters to locals, has a few video poker machines, plenty of monitors to watch a game or two from every angle, AND serves decent breakfast plate at pretty good prices. The breakfast menu ranges from about $8.99 to $14.99, which to me is average these days. Once I saw the Country Fried Steak and Eggs with Home Fries on the menu, I had to try it. It was a big plate I'd say, but the crispy fried steak was drenched in gravy which masked a lot of it. Just wish the steak was a bit softer versus crunchy. Next time, I'll likely try something else as there's a lot listed on the menu. Even noticed their omelets being a good size coming out of the kitchen. Also listed, I noticed they have pizzas, burgers, pastas, sandwiches, chili cheese fries, and chicken wings to choose from. I mean what more can you ask for? As for the dining/bar/gaming area itself, it all appeared fairly clean. When I walked in, I was pretty shocked by it tbh. I had imagined a sleezy downtown smoky bar, but it wasn't. And after getting seated, our server Bunny was doing practically everything. She went from table to table, taking orders, serving dishes, refilling coffee cups, wiping down tables, etc etc. And she seemed positive about doing all these things too! First timers!! The service was very good, also the atmosphere, and great music!! We got one special of the day, meatloaf with mashed potatoes. I tried one bite and would not try another. My brother said it was o.k. and he ate the rest. Hard and cut into pieces and grilled. I had a gyro which was very good. Pretty sure the meat was not made in house.I do plan on going back, such a large menu!! Went back a few days later. I had a taco salad. (I love taco salads, well not this one!) I asked for the chicken and could not find it. The waiter said it was under the lettuce. I finally found a little bit of chicken, no flavor what so ever. A few pieces of diced tomatoes and like 3 pieces of black olives. This was the worse taco salad I have ever had. Nothing to it. ' My brother had a chili Riano plate, he liked it very much. I tell you what, when my buddy brought me here around midnight I was skeptical, but I sure was wrong on that assumption. This place is a true gem here in Vegas. Open 24 hours the kitchen didn't disappoint with the Caesar wrap I had. One of, if not the best, Caesar wrap I've had. The beer I ordered was ice cold and my water stayed full the whole time. This was a fantastic find! The menu is huge!!!! The atmosphere is great! The music that was playing was fabulous! (They do have a digital jukebox so I don't know if someone requested the great songs or if those were just in rotation). Or server was great. He was very helpful. We couldn't decide what to get so he gave suggestions. And the breakfast liked amazing as well so we decided to come back the next day for breakfast. (And we did!). This is an old school bar and grill type establishment, it's almost a down home type place, not much atmosphere but if you're hungry when you leave it's your own fault! They have a fairly wide variety on the menu from appetizers to burgers and steak dinners. I had the O'Aces steak, a porterhouse type steak that was cooked to my spec (medium rare) served with a salad (or soup), choice of potato, veggies and garlic bread. The steak was smothered with sauteed onion and mushrooms which gave it a nice flavor. Even the "chef's veggies" were well flavored. My wife had a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Her burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were among the best we've tasted in quite some time. I should have taken some pictures, but we were hungry and dug right in before I thought of it... :-) Our server, Bunny, was great. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was taking care of several tables efficiently and with a smile. The busmen kept our beverages replenished without our asking. The prices are quite reasonable, you could spend a lot more but if you want some good basic food that tastes pretty good and is served with a smile you might want to try O'Aces. Since it's a sports bar type place, various game days might be busy, and we're told weekday lunch time can be very busy, but mid-afternoon on weekday was a great time to be there for a leisurely lunch. read more

Well this is a bar that time forgot but not in a good way.I read the reviews & most of them was good so me & my friends went.The first thing I noticed was all the smoke,lots & lots of smoke.For me I perfer no smoke if possible.There was a dining area(not a separate closed room)that was supposedly smoke free but you could still smell & feel the smoke.I already sat down and hungry so I went with it big mistake.The waitress we had seemed like she was trap there & been stuck there her whole life.I know that feeling but at least for now try to be nice.She had a very bad attitude,we all felt so uncomfortable & unwelcome.So we just paid for our drinks & left.There are many other bars with food that can treat us much better. read more

July 11, 2022 - Lunchtime, where is good to eat on the West Side. O'Aces has good food and I have never been there. A little upgraded than other bar and grills. I loved the black door, it reminded me of a secret door. Your eyes just have to adjust from the bright sunlight outside. Relaxing and comfortable and love the Country Music. Booths, Tables or the Bar. Pictures of old casino's that are no longer here. Food, that's what we came here for. Mystery Arm was craving Pepperoni Pizza, usually he gets a Patty Melt. It looked so good that I had to have a piece. The sauce was good and that makes a huge difference. I wanted a tossed salad with Blue Cheese, it was refreshing. I was between a French Dip and Reuben, well best way to choose, ask the waitress what she likes better. Thank you for the recommendation. Reuben was better with a toss salad. Bottom line, lunch was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and courteous and friendly. I like being treated like a friend than a stranger. And the young man, bussing the table, he did a great job making sure dirty dishes were cleared and drinks filled. These things make me smile and my meal taste better. We are headed back to the tattoo shop where my son is at getting tatted, he will be hungry so half a sandwich and a slice of pizza will satisfy him. Visited here about a couple months ago with a few friends. We were all tired of the same eating spots, so we thought we would drive a extra mile or two and someone suggested this. We were the only table in the dining area as we were about 90 minutes from kitchen close time. I know I had the omlette because that is what I always get. I remember it being very good and fulfilling. My other friends liked their meals as well. Even though there is high inflation, the portion size that you get is very generous. The dining area was connected to the bar, but surprisingly wasn't that loud and you could still have a good conversation. The waitress was very nice and educated us on the menu selections since it was our first time here. Really good experience and definitely will come back here. read more

My partner took me on one of our first dates to O'Aces. we walked in at about 10:30AM prior to a pool day for breakfast. We were greeted by an incredible bartender who I would soon come to love in the next two years. After falling in love with O'Aces, I mean my partner....., I have been back as much as possible. My partner and I literally purchased a place in walking/biking vicinity because it's our favorite. The butterfly shrimp and cocktail sauce are out of this world. My guy loves the breakfast. Everything is SO delicious and priced like we still live in the early 2000's. I have hit a lot of great hands here playing video poker. Another thing that I love is that they have touch tunes, so you can set the tempo. I highly recommend going here. It's one of my favorite places in town! If you go and meet Bruce in a Fedora hat, tell him that Morgan, Paul's Girlfriend says hi. He's the O'Aces mascot. read more

First time customers... We came in and sat RIGHT in front of the of bar tender (older man in his 60s) at night and he served everyone for at least 20 minutes before ever asking us what we wanted. He offered minimal customer service and was a bit of a prick (maybe he just has his regular customers that he provides good service go). I would never go back again. read more

I just stopped in here a for a night of drinks and food. I'm a fan of local bars instead of casino bars most of the time. The atmosphere is pretty inviting and upbeat, there wasn't anything notable about the decor or interior, it just felt like a comfortable bar to hang out at. I looked at their menu and was actually pleased to see the wide selection of items at very reasonable prices....and by reasonable i'm not talking about the inflated Vegas bar price but rather a truly reasonable price (and they serve breakfast all day as well) I opted for the "Jumbo" Wings and boy they weren't kidding! It was a heaping pile of large wings and fries....and pretty darn good too. I only have one small grouse- I wished the drink service was a bit faster, i felt i had to flag the bartender down for a refill. I was waiting on my car to be serviced, so it was a convenient place. As soon as you go in the door you are hit with the smell of smoke. If that works for you, then great, if not, move along. As it was a Friday in Lent, I opted for Fish and Chips. I came with a salad, which was good, not great. The lettuce was like an Argula, with long stems. little tough to chew. The blue cheese dressing, although a little soupy, was quite good. It came with a garlic toast, which was very tasty. The fish was pretty good. The batter was quite good, but the fish itself was a little meh. The fries were typically average fries. I didn't even eat them. the cole slaw was very good. At the end of the meal I felt like it was ok. If there is a next time I would get something different. read more
