    Fried Pickle Chips
    Tony M.

Came here to watch some playoff basketball on a Sunday. Service was sup par the bartender was all over the place and forgot to place our order and had to remind her several times about things. Ambiance is a vibe and they have area to play darts and if you are watching any tv they give you a personal speaker to listen to the game. We got fried pickle chips - beware these are thick 4-5pc slices not the usual small cut chips. They were ok, Their sauces seemed to be made in house and seem to be a scratch kitchen We also got their chicken tenders- they were delicious. They have this sauce called spiteful that was amaizng! Also got a side of fries that were perfectly done! Joel saved the day by helping us with the food order and drinks. Will come back but only when Joel is cooking bc he has amaizng attention to detail and great personality.

Such a fun place to watch your favorite game. Friendly staff, good food and sometimes even chances to win some swag. I love the speaker you get if the sound to your game is not on

Just moved to the neighborhood and was excited to find a neighbor bar where I could possibly get good grub and watch the games!! Was really disappointed. Didn't feel welcomed from the moment we walked in and the food was very underwhelming.

    All the games!

Love this place! My boyfriend was a regular here last football season, and I finally got to see why. We came for breakfast on NFL's opening weekend and what started as a 2-top turned into a fun 5-top when friends joined, then more fans gathered around the big butcher block table near the bar. Even though it was packed, our server Heidi was super attentive and friendly. The food specials were awesome, and the manager made sure the games we wanted were on the TVs right by us. Such a great vibe for game day -- can't wait to come back! And hello spam and eggs!

    Carne Asada Nachos

We stopped by Sporting Life Grill for a late-night snack and ended up staying for a full meal and we're so glad we did!! Everything we ordered was delicious: the fried pickles were crispy and flavorful, the carne asada nachos were loaded and satisfying, and the buffalo chicken tenders packed the perfect kick. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Liz was absolutely fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. She truly went above and beyond. We left full and happy, and we're already looking forward to coming back!

It's been a few years since we've visited. Great food and service by Mia !; fast and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed pork sliders on Hawaiian buns and pastrami (lean) dog. Also good loaded tater tots, chicken wings and spam musubi. Gaming, steel tip darts and lotsa TVs to watch your favorite sports game. If you haven't already you should check them out !

Sporting Life Bar is great for a quick stop with friends before or after a night out -- or as your designation for the night or sports game! They have a delicious food menu, and I recommend the Deviled Eggs! They have a wide variety beverage and gaming options, including darts. Everyone on their team is friendly, and service is quick!

Parking lot was busy so I thought this place was going to be busier but luckily there were a lot of seats available. Taco & Tequila Tuesday menu was amazing. I would come back again to try more beers. Our server, Luis, was so welcoming, kind, and friendly. He suggested the right food and drinks. We didn't realized they closed at exactly 9p until it was 9:30 and we noticed them cleaning up. He told us that we were fine and we could hangout a little longer. I look forward to coming here again. I saw their brunch menu and I might want to come back for that!

There's also a nice couch section with a round center table where I saw a group of friends enjoy their visit. If you're into sports, there's several televisions around the perimeter that provide good view of the action. As my first time here, the staff is very kind in explaining how the process works. I was told that you can enter your phone number and then it allows you to scan the QR code on the table for food. The alternative is to walk up to the front counter to order. I wanted to learn how to do this process so I tried. I added the food item to the cart on my phone but when it came to checkout, I was unsure how to proceed. It asked me to add a credit card, yet I already had one opened on file for my visit. I went back up to the front and the team member was unsure so we handled the entire food ordering up front. I put in an order for the chili nachos and the size was quite decent with a lot of toppings. It's a good shareable to start. I also tried the sweet potato fries which I asked for more well done to ensure that they come out with some crisp. The sweet potato fries were actually a waffle and they did come out nice, hot and crispy - so that is a winner of an app! The pour yourself concept is interesting and it's nice that each sign provides information about the content and more info if you tap the screen - such as the general beer taste description. The glass shelf has several options. I didn't see any cold glasses which would have been a plus. The staff member said that you can sample beers by just pouring a little, but there were no small shot glasses to do this. Therefore, I was compelled to just go for it and pour 3 ounces to try a light lager. Sitting back at the table, I was almost certain that a new glass would be required for each visit. However, I saw everyone bring their own glass back up to refill each time. I didn't see any clear signage on site that explained the process. If refills are allowed - then I think that additional signage should also explain pouring etiquette as well. There's a water station for self serve as well. I appreciate the lids and straws that are also at the station. I would have loved to have some ice readily available but I'm sure it's probably just an ask as I saw others have ice in their drinks. The pricing per ounce reminds me of a self serve yogurt place in that the amount you get actually feels more expensive in the end. The per ounce feel makes you think it's a good deal, but it's on par or a hair over other places that pour for you. Overall, I think this is a cool concept to try and to show out of town friends if they don't have anything like this in their area. Also - I can see this being a great place if friends are going dutch as they can use their own card and everyone is responsible for their share. Lastly, if you don't like to commit 16 oz to just one beer, this is a great way to try several beers in one sitting.

But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

When Great American Pub first opened, it was fantastic -- solid food, good vibes, and most importantly, exceptional staff. Ryan, the manager, and Sunshine, the bartender, were the heart and soul of this place. They were welcoming, professional, fun, and actually made you want to be there. You didn't just feel like a customer -- you felt like a regular. Then corporate changes started rolling in. The menu was changed... and then changed again... and each time it got worse. Food quality and options went downhill fast. But people (myself included) still came because Ryan and Sunshine made the experience worth it. Then Ryan was suddenly moved to another location. Huge loss. At that point, Sunshine was the ONLY reason many of us still came. She had a following for a reason -- she is hands-down one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. Friendly, attentive, remembers people, builds community. The kind of person who is the brand. And then, right before Christmas, she was effectively removed as well -- shuffled into an "on-call" role bouncing between locations. That was the final nail in the coffin. Now? The food is bad. The atmosphere is off. The new management has completely missed the mark. And the soul of this place is gone. I don't go anymore -- and neither do a LOT of regulars. We follow Sunshine wherever she is because she is the experience. This bar lost its neighborhood when it lost its people. If corporate is paying attention: Bring Sunshine back. And take a hard look at why the best people keep disappearing while the product keeps getting worse. This place used to be special. Now it's just another example of how to lose a loyal customer base by pushing out the very people who made it work in the first place.

Vibe: Sophisticated, Professional, and Energetic…read more For anyone looking to impress a client, close a deal, or celebrate a milestone with colleagues, finding the right venue for a business lunch can be a delicate balancing act. You need an environment that is sophisticated but not stuffy, lively but quiet enough for serious conversation, and supported by a culinary program that commands respect. The George Sportsmanship Lounge delivers on all of these fronts with remarkable grace, redefining what a modern business lunch can--and should--be. The Atmosphere: Polished Athletic Heritage Meets Executive Comfort Walking into George, you are immediately struck by how masterfully the design bridges the gap between a high-end club and a refined, modern lounge. The decor pays a tasteful, artistic homage to the spirit of "sportsmanship"--think rich leather banquettes, beautifully curated vintage sporting photography, warm walnut accents, and low, ambient lighting that feels incredibly exclusive. For a business lunch, the layout is exceptionally well-thought-out. The seating is spaced generously to offer genuine privacy for confidential conversations, and the acoustics are engineered beautifully; there is a vibrant hum of energy in the room, yet you never have to raise your voice to be heard across the table. It strikes the perfect balance of prestige and approachable comfort. The Food: A Masterclass in Contemporary American Cuisine While the ambiance sets the stage, the culinary execution is the true star of the show. The menu at George elevated our business lunch from a standard meeting into a memorable dining experience. We started with the Yellowtail Crudo, which was exceptionally fresh, accented with a vibrant citrus-yuzu vinaigrette and thinly sliced serrano peppers--a light, refreshing starter that perfectly primed the palate. For the mains, our table ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye Frites and the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass: The Ribeye: Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the steak boasted an incredible crust and a rich, deeply savory flavor profile. Accompanied by truffle-infused hand-cut frites and a velvety chimichurri, it was a decadent but perfectly portioned lunch masterpiece. The Sea Bass: This dish was a revelation. Flaky, buttery, and resting on a bed of ginger-infused heirloom grains and baby bok choy, it was light enough for a midday meal while remaining deeply satisfying and complex in flavor. Even the non-alcoholic beverage program deserved applause; their mocktails, particularly the cucumber-basil press, were sophisticated and felt just as celebratory as a traditional cocktail. The Service: Impeccable, Swift, and Discreet Great food can easily be overshadowed by poor service, but at George, the staff understands the rhythm of a business lunch. From the moment we were greeted by the host, the service was seamless. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering precise recommendations and timing the courses beautifully. Crucially for a business meeting, the staff practiced "discreet hospitality"--they were highly attentive, ensuring water glasses were always filled and plates were cleared promptly, yet they never interrupted the flow of our conversation at critical moments. The entire meal was paced perfectly, wrapping up within a comfortable 75 minutes, leaving us plenty of time to return to the office without feeling rushed. The Verdict The George Sportsmanship Lounge successfully shatters the mold of the traditional, outdated steakhouse business lunch. By combining a stunningly curated, upscale atmosphere with world-class gastronomy and highly professional service, they have created the ultimate venue for the modern executive. It is a masterclass in hospitality, and it has easily secured its spot as my go-to recommendation for lunch meetings. Highly Recommended for: Client entertainment, executive team lunches, and power midday dining.

Our server (the one with the cowboy tattoo on her left arm) didn't bring us water until about 10 minutes after we were seated. When she finally came over, we ordered an appetizer while we continued looking at the menu. After putting in the appetizer, she returned to the bar and spent a significant amount of time talking with the bartender. She made eye contact with us multiple times but never came over to check if we were ready to order. When she eventually returned, she reached for our menus as if we were finished, and we had to stop her to let her know we were actually ready to order our entrees. Considering we were the only table on the patio, we expected much more attentive service. The food was good, but unfortunately the service overshadowed the entire experience. I hope management addresses this, because the restaurant deserves service that matches the quality of its food.

Upon walking in during lunch, the bar was packed and was reminiscent of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Bar staff promptly greeted us and let us know we could seat ourselves in the dining area at a table of our choice. During our short wait for menus and our server, we scoped out the beer menu and enjoyed the music selection. It was a bit loud, but the music was good so the volume was not an issue. I was stoked to see a solid lunch special selection. We immediately ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, a Blonde Ale for my husband, and a Lambic style apricot beer for me. For food, we decided on the buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries, the chicken bahn mi with the house made chips, and a slice of mango pomelo cheesecake for the road. Food and service were phenomenal. Tasty, perfect temperature, perfectly crispy, juicy and tender chicken, and the homemade cheesecake was arguably the best I have found in Vegas since moving here in 2018. Five stars hands down.

The flavor makes it one of my favorite drinks. The ambience is amazing this place has such amazing decor, a great personality, and feels comfortable and inviting. The food here is amazing and never disappoins, I havent had too much on the menu since I don't eat pork or Shellfish but the items I have gotten like the beer batter pretzels and the hot fried chicken sandwich haven't disappointed. The quality is amazing and you can definitely tell the chefs in the back put in tons of effort and love on the food. I sit at the bar and the bartenders are always good, I haven't caught their names but I have come on different occasions and none of them have ever given me bad service. They're all so inviting and kind and always make sure I have everything I need. I tend to overtip of leave a 22-30% tip cause they deserve it for their amazing work. Dare I say its been a Masterclass experience coming here? Yes, weather you come here for late night drinks and happy hour or their lunch you won't be disappointed! Thank you 595 for the Masterclass experience!

Well, at least signage declaring the new name of the restaurant is up: "Flowing Tide Pub & Grill". And there is trenching equipment on the patio--the first sign of real remodeling taking place.

We ordered the chicken tacos with chips and salsa and the Vegas fries. It's been a while since having good loaded fries. Usually something is off, like the cheese or the fries. Not these. Simple and easy they were very good. Flavorful and filling, we enjoyed those along with the tacos. We shared plates for a lunch date and enjoyed the chill environment too. The tacos were different from a traditional taco, but tasted like a beachside taco and they were also flavorful. We didn't get any alcohol or beer this time as we have a lot to do today. But our food and experience was great. Thank you to Natasha. She was our server and the bartender taking care of every customer. Nice personality and friendly. We will def be back for a lunch date soon as we frequent vegas local dining. Def recommend. The menu is huge and plenty more to try.
