A Vegas staple for pizza. I have been coming here since Naked City was the pizza shop. It's changed a bit, but the pizza is still top tier. The chicken wings are always fresh and delicious too. Great service. Nice and clean and cutely decorated. You have to ring the buzzer to get in. Order the 12 pc medium buffalo hot wings. These were cooked perfectly, and just the right amount of sauce. Which for medium had a nice little kick. AND they had real ranch dressing to dip. So good! We ordered a large fry. These we nicely seasoned and not too crispy. Now for the best item of the night. The doggy style pizza. The crust was so delicious, not chewy and loved how it was cooked with some of the edges a little crispy. Just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Pepperoni, sausage, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and black olives. Had a cocktail and they had a nice pour on the alcohol and everything was reasonably priced. Looked a little sketchy to start, they have to buzz you in, but after that drinks were great- got introduced to a John Daly, proceeded to get good and tipsy off those. Moondoggies looks like the kind of spot where you'd expect sticky floors and a jukebox that only plays Skynyrd... and yeah, it kinda delivers on that vibe. But man, the beer selection? Wildly good. I've been wanting to check this place out for MONTHS! Man, I wish I had gone earlier!!! First of all, Tiffany was the sweetest and most attentive bar tender. She welcomed us as soon as we stepped inside! The drinks were amazing, larger than i expected! The food was all SOOOO delicious. The standout was most definitely the potato skins. The wings were great too, though I think I'll try a different sauce next time. The garlic parm flavor was a bit bland for me. The exterior can look a little intimidating, but once you step inside you are transported into a dark and vibey bar. Good music, lots of TV screens for football games, etc. I'll definitely be back! What an amazing little dive bar..gotta ring the bell to get in..even at 5 in the afternoon..as it is a shadier part of town. Once inside you are greeted with great music and very cool atmosphere. Hub got a n/a beer and I ordered my usual IPA..prices pretty good. 5 dollars for my draft and 6 for his...we decided on a quarter sheet pizza, which is 6 pretty healthy slices of pie..we got pepperoni. It came out sizzlin hot and it was freakin delicious...plus the price of this..I am scared to let the news out. We will definitely return..I think the bill was like 27 dollars for all that deliciousness and great vibe!! read more

Somewhat of a "dive" bar on Arville Street just North of Desert Inn...need to be buzzed in to gain entry as the area isn't necessarily the best part of town...interior seems to have been recently remodeled, long bar with several video poker machines, small dining area off to the side with many picnic type tables to sit and eat...fair amount of taps for beer and the prices are more than fair compared to other establishments of this type...only IPA on tap was hazy little thing from Sierra Nevada brewco, not my favorite but it was okay on this occasion...they have a small window where you walk up and order food, this used to be a Naked City Pizza place but they moved out a few years ago...the new place is just as good, the pizzas are practically the same, maybe it's the same cook? They also offer salads, wings, and sandwiches...all are very good but the Thai wings were outstanding...the billing is separate from the bar so if you're drinking you'll have separate tabs...service was good, the bartender, Shawna, was friendly and attentive, she also seemed to know the majority of the "regulars" who stopped in during my stop...restrooms are newer and were very clean which is always a nice bonus in this type of bar...music is available on TouchTunes but they do have volume on games during sporting events....only real drawbacks are the the noise level, loud, and the smokiness from chain smokers playing video poker and such...all in all this a good spot and would stop again if in the area...also, this bar is a Buffalo Bills bar so if you like them then you'll like this place even more....RECOMMEND read more

We made a triumphant return to Moon Doggies after at least a 10 year hiatus (we live across the country in South Carolina). Not much has changed at all! They still serve up great Buffalo style pizza and it's still a great Buffalo Bills hangout spot. It was also just as clean as could be and the bartender was super friendly. This is simply a great locals spot or for out of town Buffalonians that want quality grub at reasonable prices served by a friendly face! Cannot wait to return! read more

This place has such a cool vibe. It is everything you want your local bar to be. There was ample seating and the decor is fun with a touch of that badass bar humor as well. I love that it isn't heavy of smoke smell, that is a huge plus. Jen is super friendly and awesome, so was the kitchen crew. You could tell that most of the people here are regulars, which is cool to see. Now let's talk food - YUMM! I ordered the vampire kryptonite pizza because I am in love with garlic. It did NOT disappoint. It was DELICIOUS! It does not have meat, so if that is your thing, you may want to ask for meat but I loved it just the way it is. Perfection! The wok n roll wings were unlike any wings I have had before. The way they cook them is completely different than your traditional wing spot. They were charged, sticky with delicious sauce and covered in green onions and crispy garlic. You really cannot beat it. My husband and I both could not stop eating them. The potato skins were equally delicious with a crispy outside and soft center that is loaded with cheese and bacon. Ask for a side of ranch (which is also BOMB) and you will have the perfect potato-y goodness. Lastly our table ordered the all-meats pizza. Again, super delicious. I am not always a huge fan of meat-heavy pizzas but they cooked it to where all the meat had a little char on the edges and that just kicked up the flavor. We have had Moon Doggies twice. Both times we door dash so I don't know what the ambiance is like. But the pizza is quite tasty. I can't describe the crust, not quite Sicilian but not Detroit either. Whatever it is is good! We love the angry Hawaiian and the Naked City. The Rebel was tasty too. My favorite though are the chicken tenders. Juicy, not dry at all. They are big! Moon doggies is the proper name for a Dive bar dump that has basic bar food. They served beer pints in dirty glasses so I got a sore throat and runny nose from the dirty glasses. Don't go here it's bad unless you want to get sick. So many other places in the area that are better. read more

I'm not a biker, but It's my kind of bar.....thanks to their employees. Jen is the bar manager/bartender. The perfect blend of sass and beauty. Her other bartenders, Tiffany and Meagan know how to treat their customers. Hospitality like theirs doesn't always find its way into the gaming bars (from my experience). The food is on point. Their pizza and wings are some of the best in the city. The kitchen staff is just as friendly as the bartenders. The bar stools are the most comfortable that I've found in the city. Those that like to sit for hours will have no fear of back or butt pain. They spared no expensive regarding seating. Lots of TVs and plenty of gaming options. So I've ordered only the pizza from Moon Doggies on numerous occasions and I really enjoy it. The sauce is a bit tangy and the crust is cooked perfectly. Not too thick and not too thin. The pepperoni is thin and smaller which I also prefer and the pizza is cooled in like a rectangular fashion. The bar is a bit small and can get a bit smoky but most bars like this are usually packed, especially when the food is good and Moon Doggies is no different. The gaming here is pretty good as well l, however I haven't spent enough to post any pictures of any wins or anything else yet. The recently switched gaming reward programs and they now don't have a card. Just a log in code. So if you are looking for a good pizza place for dine in or carry out this is the place! And the fact it is also open 24 hours makes it even better! read more

I've been coming here for years after seeing it on an episode of Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Pizza is always good and served as a sheet rather than round. I'm not a smoker and it's in a Bar so there's that. No Nick on the food though and they do have a stand alone location. This spot was nearest to where I was so I let it fly.
