We decided to only do one of the repairs so he charged us $800 instead. He never told us our parts would be aftermarket, nor did he ask our preference. How do you do that in the auto repair business? Well, it's 4 months later and about 4,000 and this baby is running better than ever. It sounds and shifts just like the factory. He did do a rebuild on mine. He may not be the cheapest but do you really want that guy? No, you want the guy that knows what he's doing and has the tools, shop and experience to do it right. After speaking to Moe at Tampa Bay wholesale, I knew I had to take my car there. Moe was upfront, completely transparent, and took his time to talk to me. Instead, they confirmed it was an easy repair and charged only $50--almost unheard of in today's economy. The service went above and beyond. When I picked up my car, they had even washed it and removed paint from the front end left after an unintended acceleration incident involving my garage door a few months earlier. I had previously taken the car to Wesley Chapel BMW--now part of Morgan Auto Group--for an inspection, and they did not remove the paint.
