Not a good beginning. Anthony's Pets has closed and moved out beside two more empty stores, then three jewelry stores face the Target rotunda. Continuing down the concourse I saw three more empty spaces and two closed stores. The concourse between Dick's and the Food Court has the most popular and largest stores, H&M, Torrid, Buckle, Old Navy, Build-A-Bear, and no empty stores. When looking at the existing photos on their Yelp listing, the kiosks in the concourses have decreased significantly and some of them were closed. But I saw more people shopping here than I see in the Greenwood Mall (before the two recent incidents in the news) so I think the Bloomington folks are supporting their local mall well. The Food Court seemed adequate with the usual choices including a new pizza restaurant, Azzip Pizza, located very near the actual court seating area. The restrooms were clean. I liked how the sinks were separated from the rest of the facilities by being in a room of their own. They also looked recently renovated with new tile on the floors and walls. No issues with parking as plenty of spaces were available.

I like visiting stores and taking pictures and looking around and exploring. So that's what I did I did not purchase anything but I did walk around the whole store seeing things as my wife shop. The store had been open for two hours, but it looked like a tornado had hit it. I understand they are short-staffed, they were having a sale, whatever. Still, it made it difficult to find what I was looking for. Then I went into the dressing room to try on the clothes. Every single dressing room had several articles of clothing inside. As if no staff person is available to clean up the dressing rooms. I had to move clothes out of my way just so I could try clothes on. Even worse, there was a dead cockroach on the floor in the dressing room, and huge dust tumbleweeds rolling around on the floor. It was as if the dressing rooms had not been cleaned in WEEKS. I asked to speak to the manager when I was checking out. Jessica basically told me that they have a cleaning staff that is separate from the store (contractors). (Guess it's their fault the store is filthy? I don't think so.) She told me they are short-staffed. She gave me a half-hearted apology. It was seriously disgusting in the store and in the dressing room. Kohl's management should be ashamed.

The reason I gave it four stars has to do with diligent organization, very good selection, and the frustration I feel with other used clothiers. Here is a place where you can go to the size 32 mens pants and find actual size 32 mens pants, and you won't have to go through a huge mission to find them strewn over the entire rack. The clothes do need a cursory glance, but it's very rare to find some hidden defect. This said, the prices are double+ of the thrift stores in this locale. When you get what you pay for, it's called value. They have stock in menswear where other stores don't. It's packed! Although my regret that it's for profit and not aiding a charity. I don't mind putting my money in someone's back pocket for the service and quality product they provide. Even though this seems like The People's Republic of Monroe County sometimes, some of the capitalists are earning their pay.

Also the quality of the things they sell, one dress was made of fake leather and I touched it and it crumbled in my hands. But they refused almost 120 items of clothing of mine because of "condition" most of the clothes were hardly worn. some shirts they sell are SHEIN or completely synthetic and are put at 12 dollars - tank tops are 8 - any shirts is 10+ it's definitely a more bougie store than a thrift store. Decent shoe selection you can find good shoes there often but some are in poor condition and marked at 35$. Overall as a seller I would not recommend, go somewhere else. As a buyer occasionally you'll find a deal but if you're looking to save money goodwill is a better option! ( I understand that they buy based on what they can sell but there are other stores that say the same and actually give you a reasonable deal. )
