Dr. Schick is a kind doctor and ensures that I understand how to take the prescriptions I need for continued eye health. His daughter, Stephanie, is a compassionate person. I currently have eyesight in my left eye because of her care and expertise when I endured a traumatic hyphema, which would have resulted in permanent blindness had she not been honest with me and was able to see me on an emergency status. The nurses and staff are also really great and I continually feel welcomed there as a patient regardless of life challenges. Definitely recommend them for eye wellness!

They treat everyone special, and sometimes that means a little extra time with some. They treat us all special, and none of us is above anyone else. Give 'em a break please! As far as care goes, second to none. Dr. Schick is great, and he has passed down his knowledge and work ethic to his daughter, Stephanie. She, like her father, give excellent care to us. Attention so good, if there's a brief waiting period, it's worth it. Besides, cell phones were made for waiting rooms.

Moreover, I want to let anyone reading this review know pleased I was with Raj Sharma, NP, MHA. In addition to being terrific like everyone in the Merced office, NP Sharma was very helpful in explaining to me, in great detail, the various issues that come into play with my allergies. He is a very kind, knowledgeable, and patient medical professional. I completed a full schedule of tests, and I'm fully aware of what I am allergic to and how to better address them with appropriate treatment at Baz, along with things I can do on my own. I wish all of my interactions with health care providers and medical office staff could be as good as what I've experienced at the Baz office in Merced.

After my fourth attempt, I requested a callback and was told it would be about 10 minutes but I never received one. What makes this especially concerning is that I'm currently dealing with asthma issues and was trying to reach them for help. When you're in that kind of situation, accessibility and responsiveness really matter. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here. I hope they can improve their communication and responsiveness, especially for patients who may be dealing with urgent health concerns.
