My massage therapist Jasmine was lovely, she checked with my throughout my massage to make sure the pressure was good and that I felt good. I really appreciated that. She used a heat lamp to keep my feet warm and some essential oil on my neck. She was very attentive to the areas I asked her to focus on.

The regular parking spots are very tight there. TCM doesn't open until 10:00 am (Their website has the wrong hours) and it was 9:15 in the morning. I only had a few items to buy and assured the woman that I would leave well before 10:00. I was told that the next time I parked in front of their business, she would call the police to tow my car." I've never used TCM's services and am unlikely to. Someone who verbally threatens a disabled person is someone I wouldn't let massage my body or stick a pin to rebalance my chi. I'm really not worried about the threats because the last I heard, the Edmonton Police Service doesn't have any tow trucks. They hand out tickets for illegal parking, which I wasn't.

She kept asking me who I wanted as a massage therapist even though I told her this was my first time. The place was really clean and bright when I arrived and the staff were friendly. My massage therapist was friendly and asked me lots of questions and mentioned she used to be a nurse. She talked the entire time though and made it difficult to relax. She admitted to being a smoker and took mints to help mask the smell on her breath, but I could smell it on her the entire time. I also didn't find her technique that great and I left feeling like I needed to book another massage. They only thing I liked was that I got a small bag of Epson salts when I left. I dropped by this place on Oct 2025, I was going to take only one session to see how is it. They gave me different pricing with and without membertship and they told me it is free to try the membership, which it is true join membership costs nothing. I booked the appointment for massage, gave them my info and credit card information. When I was there at the spot to do massage, I found that the catch is that you have to commite minimum 3 months to have the discounted price. Otherwise, the price is much higher than other places. So that is fine I can tried 3 times, I was kindly to sign the commiment/membership. (They gave me bunch of paper works, normally people were are not going to read them words by words, which would cause you a no-easy-quit) After you in the program, they will pre-charge your credit card then you can use it. My other massage places are not doing this, you alwasy do the treatment and then pay. Thing gets intereting is that when my 3 months commiment is over. I told them at the spot in the store on Dec 2025 when my 3rd treatment done, I would like to cancel my membership; they said they can not cancel it; they have me to email them; also I have to do it in 30 days advance. I initially, just wanted to try for only 3 times, see the screenshot, from Oct to Dec 2025. When membership finished, they do not give you a easy way to quit; due to the holidays and email cancellation request only, they kicked the ball, intentionally to comlicate and delay the process, so to have you miss the so-called policy cancellation period, and sure, charge you ahead and make you spend more there. ( cuz normally, people would not pay much attention to the rule and do not care since we covered by insurance.) Then I emailed them on Jan 19 2026 to cancel the auto withdraw and membership;(my 4th payment was already charged on 15th). They replied back to me the cancellation is confirmed on Feb 5th. see the screenshot email. So I was like, fine, they already charged me, I can use it then that is it. On Feb 28, I was going to use my 4th credit, they told me you can not use it until you make the 5th payment for 15th Feb. The reason is that, your cancellation submmited on 19th Jan, there is no 30 days notice in advance. So you have to make one more payment: 5th payment, then you can use the 4th credit today. I was like, my commitment is over, I should be able to quit anytime I want, and I did the email request too. This is such a rip-off, It is understandable you pre-charge my credit card for the 3 month term, but why when it is finished. You are still authorized to pre-charge me? This business is trying their best to squeeze as much as they can out of you. If you argue with them, they just saying you sign the documents. I understand I am covered by insurance, it is kind free for me, but this is not moral to do so.

That is absolutely ridiculous!!! So I went somewhere else. But now, I'm getting emails for heating pads and home massagers out of the states, plus text messages from their office. They didn't even wait one day to sell my information!!! And they want my credit card???? Unfortunately, I have no way now to cancel my profile.
