Owner is extremely knowledgeable, personable, willing to discuss your vehicle, and is helpful. I will continue to bring my cars here. Additional context: dealer and several other shops could not or would not provide me answers for the lights (but sure loved to take my money and provide "eh, maybe, it could be" responses). The (redacted) Cadillac dealer I previously went to, failed to identify the issue. They also failed to replace/fill oil on my last service resulting in a critical low oil state-- also adding unnecessary wear to the vehicle and inspired a new engine noise. I was about to give up and drive the car off a bridge-- Meoni's: quickly diagnosed the issue, about 24 hours, with a confident and clear answer. They have a fair labor rate that doesn't feed a corporate machine. They gave me a fair price for the diagnostic work. After all said and done... due to the age, wear, and other factors, they didn't recommend fixing the issue. The owner and I discussed his reasoning, which was supported by objective evidence. This demonstrates integrity I simply cannot find in any other shop I've been to. I cannot recommend it more.

Soon after I arrived at the shop, I knew picked the right place. Tom Basalyga, the owner, gave me all advice I could ask for. He explained what needed to done and how to file an insurance claim. With his assistance, I actually filed my claim while sitting in his office. It turned out that my naive estimate of the damage was way off and I could not drive the car because it was unsafe. Since I did not expect it, I had no ride home. Tom helped me again and drove me from his garage in Scranton to my home in Clarks Summit. It was a tremendous help! ECM "programming" upsell factory. Brought my 2014 GMC…read moreTerrain in. Quoted ~$1,300 for ECM + install + programming after a $212 diagnostic (supposed to roll into the repair). I supplied a pre-programmed, VIN-matched ECM to keep it simple and cheap. They still tried to tack on a $200-$300 "programming" fee, claiming "your key won't work without it." Reality check: after they installed the ECM, the car started immediately with my original key. No special programming needed. When I asked for the standard GM SPS/TIS programming session log to prove anything was actually flashed, they wouldn't provide it. If programming was necessary or performed, producing that log takes 30 seconds. They couldn't--because the upsell wasn't real. Other gotchas: the diagnostic "credit" only applies if you buy their parts (not disclosed up front), and they hide behind "Global A requires SPS" as a blanket excuse to sell full reflash even when a VIN-matched module starts the car just fine. Post-install, they tried to keep the narrative going; I removed the vehicle to stop the billing creep. Bottom line: they tried to turn a $400-$600 ECM swap into $1,300 with invented "programming" and zero documentation. If you go here, demand itemized labor and the SPS session report before paying for any programming. If they can't show it, walk. I won't be back.

I approved the repairs and all the work was completed. The steering and alignment has not been this precise and responsive for years.
