The shopkeeper was absolutely charming--helpful, kind, and genuinely welcoming. She chatted with my daughter and me while helping us find exactly what we were looking for. Earlier that day, I had seen a sweater I loved at one of the woolen mills, but they didn't have my size. Shades of Erin had it, and the shopkeeper even helped me try it on. The prices were better than those at other stores we visited, and the selection felt thoughtfully curated. My daughter found a sweatshirt she loved, but they didn't have the right size in stock. Without hesitation, the shopkeeper popped down to their other store to check and ended up finding the perfect one for her. This shop provided one of my favorite memories of our trip to Ireland. Pretty impressive! We only had about 30 minutes to browse Blarney Woollen Mills. In that time, Wifey found a very cool jacket to purchase at an affordable price point. In that time, she also forgot her sunglasses at the shop. We already faraway from the shop when she realized that she misplaced it. She immediately called the shop, but by that time the sunglasses were nowhere to be found. The employee who answered the phone was not very helpful or sympathetic though. Very sad and disappointing customer service!!! Despite the loss of my wife's beloved sunglasses, it was still an okay experience overall. This shop carrys all kinds of clothes, crafts, food, plus so much more. Blarney Woollen Mills is known as having the great Irish Shopping Experience after all. Absolutely check this place out after you kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle of course. Just don't forget any of your possessions while you are here because chances are great that they will be unable to help you.

We visited again after Blarney Castle but we had limited time since it closes at 6 PM and we got there at around 5:30. He is a bottlenose dolphin that was first documented in the area about 32 years ago and lives in close contact to humans. They do not know his age but they do know that the typical life span is up to 50 years. In the shop you will find all of the typical tourist treasures. There is pretty Celtic jewelry, accessories, cards and so mush more for competitive prices. This shop is very much like the other souvenir shops in the area.
